I have a chromecast connected to my TV, but when using firefox on my phone it won't work. The icon isn't even showing. Is it available through an addon or by some other means since Mozilla responded that I should ask here?

This recent update in how PDFs are handled is really poor. The responses to the effects of the update seem really arrogant.
No, your PDF viewer is not better than Adobe reader. Even if it was, I want the choice to download directly to my preferred app, even if you think it sucks. I thought Mozilla was all about choice? That's why I thought I donated monthly. I want control over the software I use. It's been a pattern with Mozilla, for example, removing about:config for people who don't want dev builds.
Just like desktop Firefox, I want to choose how to handle files and choose how my software works:
