Firefox til Android supportforum

I cannot share a tab from my phone to my tablet or vice versa. I can send tabs to my desktop computers, and my desktop computers can send tabs to my phone, but for some reason Firefox Sync thinks that my phone and my tablet are the same device.

Curiously, when I go into my Firefox account settings and change the name of my browser on each device, as soon as I sync, the names are swapped. Specifically, I named Firefox on my phone "S23 Ultra". When I checked the settings on my tablet, it showed that that was also the name of Firefox there, too. So I changed the name of it on my tablet to "Tab S8+". As soon as I hit "Sync Now," my phone changed to "Tab S8+". And when I changed my phone back to "S23 Ultra," as soon as I synced my tablet, that became the name of my tablet browser, too.

I recently got a new phone and have logged into Firefox Sync. I can see all of the tabs from my old phone, but how can I open all of the tabs at once in the new phone without having to click one tab at a time? I've tried going on desktop and opening the sync account and using crtl+h to see all the tabs, but I only open the tabs that were on my phone on the desktop browser, not send the tabs to my new phone.

I had to delete and reinstall Firefox on my phone because an amazon page kept loading and I couldn't stop it. I lost all my log-ins as a result and no matter what I try, or how many times I try, I cannot get the Windows computer and the Android phone to sync so I can get my passwords back. I have it set to sync the passwords. I get an error when pairing the phone with the computer Firefox. Yet I can see my tabs, just not my passwords. I have followed all the instructions and nothing works. Please help!

I've been deleting my saved passwords in Firefox, after migrating to a standalone password manager. It's been anything but easy (deletions are not synced, and bulk deletion process is inconvenient to say the least).

What worries me is that my "deleted" passwords kept coming back as soon as I enabled Sync, until I realised I had duplicate devices in my Mozilla account control panel. I still have, though, some other connected services (Add-ons, Mozilla Support, Mozilla Monitor...).

Is what I've done enough to ensure they're gone? Where exactly are synced passwords stored, and how can I be sure that they aren't lying around in a Mozilla server, awaiting a future data breach? I don't have the time and energy to change 200+ passwords.

I have two computers which names starts with "UNIT" and followed by some numbers that differs. If I want to send tab from mobile to one of them I cannot determine which is which because device name is cut after 4 characters. See attached screenshot. Thanks

Hello all. I have a strange problem, sorry for the length. So I have a windows pc, and 2 android devices, a cell and a tablet. Sync has not really worked well for over 3 years, and I'm trying yet one more time to fix this. I honestly don't believe it can. Each device is pretty much on its own, so I do not see all of my articles/tabs on all 3. If you were to take a look at each, the tabs are all different. I've tried everything. So let me ask this: is there a way to manually do this? I guess I'll just have to do that. I've signed in and out on both android devices, hit the sync button on all 3, looked for updates on all 3, etc. My cell didn't even show up on my pc for 3 years. I don't want to mess with that one yet {cause it's windows}, I've gone into settings, tried what the articles suggest. Nothing. Weirdly, my bookmarks are fine {thank goodness}. Please help. I had my homepage setup on my old phone with firefox and the Ustart homepage but when I tried to do the same thing on my new phone There is no place to enter it like the used to be

What happened was, when I got my new computer on Christmas, I signed into my Firefox account and I'm not sure if I synced yet, but when I tried to log into my main email, the login wasn't there and a few other logins were gone, this was in 2021, my old pc is really slow and I can't access my computer's account cause it's corrupted and I reinstalled, reverted Firefox, like 5 times but it never worked, if you want to know My email was a gmail login

There is a serious fault with Firefox and synchronising ,my phone email is full of blank links sent that should have links to download,the data is floating about somewhere as my Laptop tells me so !!!. My email is fully working on the phone as I downloaded My BT. The QR did work after lots of mishaps . To make matters worse Google refused Firefox browser so I took it off and downloaded again, they said it was not secure ?.Quite frankly I am pretty hopeless with these gadgets and would like a very simple solution to my dilemma, any suggestions would be gratefully received.
