The official instructions say to put a bookmark in a folder click on three dots, click to edit, then click on either a particular folder or some non-existent generic folder button. In my version of android Firefox, neither alternative is possible. If I go from the edit bookmark screen to the preceding general screen (where the folders are listed) and click on a folder, both happens, the bookmark is not transferred to the folder. As for the second, one is told to open the edit function and then click on the folder button. But there is no folder button. How to do it? I'm running android 14 on a Galaxy A14.

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

Hi there, I recently downgraded Firefox on my Android (5.1.1), as the new versions of the app became to get heavy.

I have logged in with my Account and am now trying to get the bookmarks synced. I have no Desktop right now to pair. The bookmarks and the Account are only available on my iPad, where FF is logged in and has the bookmarks synced.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks for any help and regards, Dan

Okay i have lost all my bookmarks on my pc but i still have them on my mobile, doe anyone know how to export or save them all so i can reload them on the pc, thanks in advance

Good morning everyone. I find managing bookmarks on Firefox for Android extremely difficult. To open a bookmark I have to click on bookmarks, desktop bookmarks, bookmarks bar, favorites bar and choose the bookmark. A very long journey. Furthermore, once I have opened a bookmark and subsequently want to open another one I have to repeat the same very long procedure, Firefox does not resume from the folder where I opened the last bookmark, as happens in other browsers. I don't know if I explained myself. Can it be remedied somehow?

Hi , I have Firefox on old android device ( android 4.0.1 ) and I have a lot of bookmarks on it . I need to backup or save my bookmarks to use it on my new android phone . The problem ( I can't sync or use my fireFox account on the old phone because Firefox not support android 4.0 anymore _ so old devices can't sync anymore) When I try to sync it give an error with empty page.

I have Firefox 118.1.0. I am unable to access file:///data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/ in the browser's address bar. How would I access this? I wanted the bookmarks file.

So i was browsing google to find any solution with android Firefox and bookmarks. It's 2023 and it's still impossible to move bookmarks in it. Is this some kind of a joke? So the only option is to move to Opera i guess? Can i move my bookmarks to it on my phone?

Just migrated to Pixel 7 Android. Was able to sync my logins and passwords from my PC. However Boomarks didn't sync even though I selected/checked them to be synced. Why not? How do I get my PC boomarks to appear on a Pixel 7?

Apparently Firefox mobile is different than desktop. On an Android phone I want to import my chromebookmarks into Firefox? I could not find an article on how to do it but yet found other people struggling and asking the same question.

Both are logged into the same email, I have bookmark syncing on for both the phone and laptop, I've tried logging in and out, but none of the bookmarks I made on computer show up on the mobile browser.

in which file does Firefox Nightly save the bookmarks? And why is it still not possibly after so many years, to export them easily as a file?

Hello A little while ago I noticed that my bookmarks from this accound disappeared. I didn't deleted them. In fact I haven't done anything with them for years. But they are precious to me and I would like to ask if you have copy of them or could you bring them back on my account by any chance? (There were lots of them. I use to keep Bookmarks until I specially deleted them. As Bookmarks they stayed. Now when I do automatic search daily delation, the Bookmarks are also removed! I am not an EE but is there some easy way to separate these 2 so I can keep Bookmarks yet delete Search History? Thank you. A Bookmark to me is not permanent or ephemeral but totally under my control like on a book I put back on the self. What is a Bookmarks to Mozilla Firefox?
