Why was it done? Is there a setting I can change so I can see them work as animated favicons? Will you change this on your next update? Otherwise, I am going to have to roll-back the version.

After running updates and restarting my computer, I am no longer able to open my common websites used frequently. I don't know how to fix this problem. The search bar runs until it times out.

My Firefox sometimes freezes in the evenings when using AOL Mail and Facebook. I put this down to my old and slow PC. But I now have a brand new PC working on Windows 11 and all seemed fine, but it happened again this evening. I then logged into Facebook using MS Edge and it was working fine.

When I start Firefox on Windows it does not open all the Windows it had last time even though that option is selected in settings. It seems random on which Windows open.

Then I start one Window at a time and restore my tabs from bookmarks. Once I have done that I have all the Windows in the order I want, with the tabs I want.

Then for no apparent reason some of the Windows disappear and/or the Windows change order. This is very frustrating.

How do I get Firefox to always open the Windows in the correct order and keep them displayed in that order?

So, after using firefox in the background to browse websites or watch videos I checked my memory usage in firefox with about:memory -> Measure and saw that youtube was consuming a decent amount >2GB (checked the main url when clicking the youtube src, it was the video on that sole tab i was watching and nothing else playing youtube in the bg) so i closed that tab, waited a bit and re-measured but then see that the memory usage for youtube rose about 200MB... and the website for youtube is that same url for the tab that i just closed (when checking the src in the results for Measure). I've been revisiting the about:memory page, reloaded it and re-Measured and youtube is STILL THERE. Even now, 10 minutes later i still see youtube there, with none of my tabs running youtube.

If i close firefox entirely and re-open my tabs then it'll very likely fix it but this has to be a major issue no? I shouldn't have to close the entire browser program just to fix a website visit, which is youtube of all websites.

As of this moment, firefox, with 8 tabs open, is consuming 4,452.99MB (~4.5GB) where 2.5GB is youtube for that page i closed.

I don't know if sharing memory reports from the about:memory page give my cookies away or leave me open to a similar vulnerability so I won't share it unless a dev or similar asks for it but for now, I've included an image showing all the tabs i have open on firefox, 2 windows.

I’m writing to report an ongoing issue I’ve been experiencing with Firefox over the past few months.

Within the last four months, Firefox has logged me out of every account I was signed into on three separate occasions. Each time this happens, all saved sessions are cleared and I have to sign back into every service again manually.

I haven’t intentionally cleared cookies, site data, or browsing history, and I’m not using private browsing when this occurs. This behavior is disruptive and I’m concerned there may be a settings issue, bug, or conflict causing Firefox to remove my sign-in data unexpectedly.

Could you please advise what might be causing this and what steps I can take to prevent it from happening again? I’m happy to provide additional details such as my operating system, Firefox version, or troubleshooting steps already attempted if needed.

I started my computer bookmarks and password were gone. I can't find them in profiles or I don't know where to find them in profiles. I need this stuff obviously. It takes me forever to reset everything. What if anything can I do?

Firefox installed a new version and my stuff has disappeared. I don't recognize the window at all. I have tried the "restore sessions" but I'm told it can't happen. I need my stuff back.

My main Email Got Hacked how can I change my email or add a Account recovery key to my mozilla account or even add Two-step authentication ? I am very frustrated, please advise urgently.

My default search engine in Firefox settings is Google. I deleted Yahoo search from the list of browsers in my settings. Nevertheless, all of my searches recently began going through and using Yahoo search. This is the search path that comes up in the search box: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/ . . . How can I stop this?
