Firefox just self updated to 119.0 and twice now it has frozen then locked up the system so I couldn't even move the mouse cursor, and I had no choice but do a hardware reset. Windows 10 desktop PC. I had to download Chrome to get back on the net. I'm rolling back to an earlier version and turning off the updates. Updates usually do more harm than good, and I've been using these browsers since Netscape 2.

Whenever I try to launch Firefox, a blank window opens and immediately closes instead of the actual browser. This happens no matter how many times I try, even if I restart my computer. In case it's relevant, I'm using Windows 10.

I seem to not be able to access the website for my local oil company https://fegleyoil.com/ even though I have been able to do so multiple times over the past few years. I have checked every Firefox setting but am still unable to load their site to order oil. I have successfully been able to load their site not only on my smartphone but also on my work PC. I need to know how to fix this. Please advise and many thanks in advance for any assistance. BTW, it also doesn't load on my home PC in Firefox, Edge or Chrome but again loads just fine on my phone and work PC and my home PC VPN is turned off when I try to access this site and I have it added to my Firefox exceptions to be allowed.

I would like my Mozilla Firefox bookmarks to stay on the left side and my bookmark toolbar on the right side (just like it used to be). Now both Bookmark toolbar and Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are on the left side , and I can't even search a Mozilla Firefox bookmark using the search window.

My laptop Fiirefox has a tiny white bar at the top with the X, minimize and maximize commands. How do I make that go away? (Or come back, if I need it to.) I need the real estate on the laptop, if for no other reason than to shut Messenger down on FB. Presently, I can't access the X to close it. Presently have Win10 on an Acer Spin 3. Hello. Whenever that blue broader on the new tab appears, it doesn't let me type on my keyboard and doesn't let me switch to a different tab and open my folder on the desktop whenever I press my keyboard. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I have just started using Firefox and ticked that every internet tab is Firefox but every time I click new tab, it states "search with google or enter address" I cannot get into about:config to then get to browser.newtabpage.pinned How do I get rid of this Google message?

When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. Don't know what the address bar is called, but I believe it once had a download icon. Am I mistaken?

Sometimes after I enter an address there will be an icon where I can download something. Is this website-dependent?

I have custom URL's set when opening my homepage. For the last few weeks, Firefox has been opening tabs from the last session. I've checked the URL's and they are correct in the settings but for some reason they're not loading properly.

However, the pages that load at start up are not these URL's, instead they're opening with the ones in the photo I provided. How do I fix this or do I need to select a different default browser?

When Firefox connects to AMAZON, you do not show full access like other browsers, like Google Chrome or MS Edge. In particular, you do not have access to "sizes" and subliminal access to prices like Google Chrome or MS Edge

I recently changed to Firefox from chrome and the focus on security and privacy was a much needed upgrade. However, every time I close my windows I'm logged out of all my accounts. I checked all the settings that would have that effect even escalating it to a clean install and unfortunately nothing works. After checking the support forums this setting seemed to be the one that fixed things, attached is a screenshot showing that its unchecked and that there is cookie data stored, so I'm really at a loss.

While on michaels.com I click on a product, it goes to the product then immediately the screen goes blank. It also happens when I do a search, multiple products show up, then the screen goes blank. I don't have that issues on other websites. What is going on and how do I solve this issue?
