Is there any way to block media mini players from popping up on websites entirely?

This is what I've tried, I found this in another article here.

   media.autoplay.default = 5 [0:allow;1:blockAudible;5:blockAll]
   media.autoplay.blocking_policy = 2
   media.autoplay.allow-extension-background-pages = false
   media.autoplay.block-event.enabled = true
   media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground 

It doesn't autoplay anymore, but it still pops up in the bottom right corner of the screen. I don't mean Firefox's picture in picture, I'm talking about the floating mini player most websites use. It's thoroughly annoying, especially when you have your pop-up settings set to off.

Why is the text in tab names, address bar and menu boxes so small? I did the changes to about:config and the other one that comes up when I googled this question but, while they enlarge the text in those places, they make the page content too big.

I've been experiencing an issue with my website when viewed on Mozilla Firefox. Some elements seem to be rendering incorrectly or not displaying at all. I've had recent security issues and have had a couple actual breaches. Having two accounts so similar to one another caused some unnecessary confusion during a panicked burst of changing passwords. Can we merge them?

I have been unable to receive the OTP I need to log in. My username and password work fine but then I try to get to the OTP, it doesn't show up on my email and the cell phone number is an old one. Please help. I have a lot of shopping to do.

Firefox is blocking website reader comment sections, yahoo, foxnews and so on. (version 126.0 64 bit). Windows 11. Comment section still found using chrome or edge. Started with last Firefox browser upgrade? Have not seen any changes to Firefox "Privacy and Security options" . I use Google or Duck Duck Go as search engines. Thanks

For some reason, recent updates caused my Firefox address bar to misbehave.

I have already murdered the unwanted search engine suggestions which the standard settings failed to kill - I just kept turning things off in about:settings until the garbage feature died.

However, I am still unable to address the most annoying bug.

When I start typing in address bar, the pop-up box with suggestions, rather than attach itself to the bottom of the address bar, goes to some imagined, predefined anchor point which is off screen, somewhere outside the confines of the window. As a result, I see some suggestions, but I no longer see what the hell I'm even typing. I am attaching a screenshot. This is super annoying, as I am literally forced to either use bookmarks, or type out urls in notepad then paste them over.

Anyone can help?

I am trying to switch from Google to Firefox, but I still use my Google email. I uploaded my contacts from Google to Firefox, but I am trying to edit my own contact info in Gmail contacts, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. Do I need to edit it in Firefox, and will that edit migrate back to Gmail? Why can't I edit it in my Gmail contacts (in the Gmail right-hand toolbar), and it will update my Firefox contacts automatically?

If you are going to require "A" file type, fucking say what type it has to be and provide a converter or screenshot tool! I Tried .Docx and PDF. Word does not save to PNG or JPEG so they are not an option.

AT THIS POINT, I AM STRONGLY RECONSIDERING SWITCHING FIREFOX!!!!!!

Windows 10 professional for workstations Firefox build 126.0

My browser auto updated today and after the refresh I found that the history under the address bar has been broken. It now displays only in part and over top of the address bar itself which as you can imagine is unusable. See image attached.

I entered troubleshoot mode and the problem went away. So I disabled all my extensions and addons, but the problem persists (when not in trouble shoot mode)

Any idea what could be causing this? It is hampering my ability to do my job.

I don’t understand what Firefox is doing. For example, I used to start typing the first few letters of “weather.com”, which I visit pretty much daily, and it would auto fill “weather.com”. Now it auto fills every time with http://www.weatherbase.com/. I don’t know where that came from. Similarly, I used to type the first few letters of “duckduckgo.com” and it would bring up “duckduckgo.com”. Now it brings up a magnifying glass below the url with “Search with duckduckgo”. I am thinking it might be best if I can start over, i.e. clear out any information it’s saved about where it thinks I want to go, and start remembering the sites I am entering now.

In my Firefox email when I click on an email it opens to the entire page, but then if I want to get back to see the "Inbox" with the accounts and various folders I have created it seems the only way to do it is to scroll back on the line at the top which sometimes is short but literally sometimes takes a very long time and I don't know how close I'm getting, or I have to go up and click on the little contents box in the upper left corner, click on something else, like calendar or tasks to get out of email and then click on the contents box again and click on email. There has to be an easier way???

Hello. I have an issue with Firefox. Last week Facebook stopped showing images when run on Firefox. These are in the Feed and photos, etc. I tried refreshing, clearing cookies, history and cache. I changed enhanced tracking but nothing stops this. Are there any suggestions to repair this or could it be a bug? I work on Windows 10. Please help.

Firefox seems to forget edits made to text boxes. I was reading a large pdf and adding notes to previously made text boxes. I thought I must be going crazy as I saw there was no notes I thought I had already made multiple times so I tested it. I edited a text box, scrolled a bit and continued browsing on another monitor. Checked in a minute and boom edit gone. If anyone has a solution I'd appreciate it as I have been using Firefox PDF editor for a bit and quite liked it until now.
