Hi, I've been trying to get the Multi-Account Containers Add On to work on my computer for quite some time. Would be very handy for me. When I add the Add On to my browser the icon on the top right of the screen just won't show up. Don't know what I've been doing wrong...? How can I access the container settings someway else? I've made changes to my FF settings in regards to privacy via the recommendation from Sun Knudsen but don't really see an issue here. Thanks in advance!

Unlike Safari, Firefox doesn't autofill passwords or 2-factor codes. Please implement these features or tell me how to get them to work. MacOS 14.4.1 Thank you, Steve

Where are all the tabs for the research I was working on? I stepped out of my office for a few minutes and returned to a very proud message declaring that Firefox had auto updated and now better than ever. Only all my tabs are gone. Why does every other browser save and restore tabs when updating, but not Firefox??? Do I have to go back to Safari or Chrome? This cannot happen!!!

Headlines and other tabs are not showing text properly - Not even a different language - Example of the way a headline or tab would read: Vj cv)u"k# with other parts of the website reading is ok. Especially in the application Vimeo.

I have rebooted computer and confirmed it is something to do with Firefox because when I go and use another platform like chrome it looks fine, no problems.

Please help. I have always been able to access Google Images when using my Firefox browser. Now I only get a limited few. For example if I am searching for images of Cedar Waxwings (a bird) I only see a limited amount of images and the word "Store" keeps showing up. Please tell me how to restore my otherwise satisfying experience of access all IMAGES. Thanks.

The attached photo shows the startup page that appeared today, yesterday that page had 12 of my most frequent websites loaded in place of the ones you see now. This page keeps changing on me and it's infuriating to have to remake it every few months.

What is going on??

Having an issue going to TikTok.com I see the emblem when typing in the website then it goes to the message shown in the screen shot? I can get to it when using a private window though. Thank you for any help.

When attempting to load a number of different web pages such as Quickbooks Online Apps, the page displays "Loading Apps..." with a spinning wheel, but never redirects to the Apps page; the site hangs forever. On other browsers there are no issues; it eventually switches to the correct page. In Firefox Browser I have tried adding exceptions in Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Manage Exceptions. No change. Thoughts?

My primary/default browser is Firefox on Sonoma 14.4.1, and recently I'm unable to use the inputs of my audio interface for google hangouts. The relevant output is correct, and my system audio would be the same.

I just migrated to iMac 2019 27" with Venture OS from imac with Yosamanite. Firefox looked weird with TINY tabs and search window, Too much space. I've tried updating and restarting Mac but no change. Same with themes. You can see the screen with open Firefox.

Recently a popup notification came up when I opened firefox on my mac. Its been awhile since I opened it and without thinking I clicked : o ~ Now I worry if it'ss ledgit? Does Firefox give a popup box in top right corner when it needs an update? I wasn't on any strange website or anything but I'm always concerned and dont remember seeing that before.

My firefox now says its up to date after it restarted ~ it's running 125.0.3

Any advise is appreciated.

Currently unable to save, edit or add bookmarks.

I have updated Firefox, refreshed Firefox, gone through Troubleshoot mode, cleared the startup cache, and deleted the "xulstore.json" in my profile folder.

Pls help this is driving me nuts + making me want to switch browsers. Thanks : )

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

New install of Firefox set up with a 'wrong' email account. Tried to use the 'Mozilla account' page to fix this by using secondary email and then making it primary. But the secondary email I want to use is not allowed by Firefox giving an 'Account already exists' error. What should I do?

Why aren't pull-down menus, behaving consistently, on Firefox on an M1-Max Mac on macOS Sonoma ?

The pulldown-menus don't persist, long-enough to click-upon a selection .

There are a few websites (e.g., https://thehermitagehotel.com/) that show up as a white screen (see attached) when I visit them from Firefox using my usual settings, but show up correctly if I use Firefox in private browsing mode. Turning off enhanced tracking protection does not resolve the problem. My browser privacy in Settings is set to "Custom" with everything checked, but changing to Standard and reloading the site does not fix the issue. As I noted above, the only thing that works is to open the site in private browsing mode. Most sites work fine. This problem is limited to 2-3 websites. My version of Firefox is 125.0.1 .
