On a couple of websites, but in particular Rogers.com, the captcha just never ends. It asks to click on all the bicycles, I click on them one at a time until no more appear, hit verify, it brings up something else. It will do this dozens of times and just never ever end.

Switch over to Edge, does the same. Switched to chrome and it works fine. Has google done something to captcha to deny it working on other browsers?

I have checked to see firefox is up to date and it is. I have disabled all extensions/addons. I have run malware/virus scans. On the Rogers community forums there are all kinds of people having problems but there are no solutions on how to fix. Oddly (or not) the problems are similar...captcha won't work on Edge, Firefox but will work on Chrome.

I have a very fast internet connection, 200 mbps and everything else on both my laptop and my mobile phone are working fine but Firefox is very slow. Pages load ok but videos will play for a short time and then freeze never to continue and downloads are painfully slow, 2 to 4 mbps. Edge and Chrome download normally and videos play with no issue. I need this fixed or Firefox is going bye bye!

Hi, I have been using Firefox for a good few years and I love it. I also use NordPass. Recently I tried to start using Passkeys as they appear to be less hassle, however, when I try to set one up I am told that my browser is not suitable, and it suggests that I use Chrome (or others). Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is?

I have been using FF for many years but recently have started having issues on eBay.co.uk

At the moment it specifically relates to leaving feedback on my sold items.

I'm currently logging in on MS Edge or Chrome to leave feedback as FF just will not work.

I've tried FF on a clean install on a 2nd PC (no add-ons) and still get the issue.

Please help as I am now having to use Edge & Chrome so much I may as well move over to them which I would rather not do.

Is it possible to customize the URL pulldown? When I click in the URL window - I am presented with 6 website options along with various web search options. It would be helpful to modify the options since none of them apply to me. I tried deleting history, playing with the settings/search suggestions/change settings. I want to specify certain websites - and leave it that way. I've tried right clicking the site, shift deleting, contrl deleting. Nothing works. If it is possible - it is not intuitive. I notice that the list does slowly seem to update and evolve depending on where I have been. But I don't want that either. Thx IW

In the last few days whenever I download a PDF file instead of it being displayed in my default PDF read Firefox (version 121.0.1) takes over and displays the contents of the file. I do not want this, I prefer my PDF reader! How do I stop Firefox trying to take over this function? (other than converting to Chrome)

If I go to Safelite and start scheduling an appointment, navigating through that set of webpages will cause my computer to green screen/crash. The landing page at https://safelite.com asks for a zip code, and submitting that form puts you into the scheduling flow; after entering some details about a vehicle, I can click back and continue a few times (less than ten) to make my computer crash. I was able to reproduce the issue in troubleshooting mode. I also tried the same steps in Chrome, but it did not produce a crash.

This computer has had an issue with crashing in this manner for a while now, but this is the first thing I've noticed consistently causes a crash. I'm not expecting a solution, but I am hoping to close in on the issue; whether or not Firefox is the source here is questionable, but it does seem highly entangled.

Been using Firefox for years. Also reading Foxnews. Starting yesterday I cannot post any comments at the site. I can go to Edge and all works fine, so there is something with Firefox that is conflicting with Foxnews. At first I was not able to even read articles but removed all Addon's and that has been fixed--even after reinstalling all Addon's I can still read articles. I log into my Fox account and the webpage reflects that but when I try to post a comment it says I must sign in to post, yet I am signed in! However, I go ahead and follow the links to sign in (check e-mail/click sign in to Fox etc.), ultimately it tells me I'm now signed in. But when I go back to the comment section it still says I must sign in to post but I am signed in. Besides removing Addon's I also tried removing the FF browser (Win 10 recommended a refresh instead of uninstall so I did that). No help, I'm thinking whatever is causing the conflict when refreshing FF the sync simply puts the conflict back! I'm still requested to sign in when I am signed in! As stated earlier my Fox account in MS Edge works fine.

I have noticed that my browser saves certain data that was filled into forms on websites such as contact info, or 2FA codes. Of course, the all options for Logins and Passwords as well as Forms and Autofill are turned off. So I wonder, what causes this behavior? I would maybe think these are some cookies, but after clearing them and deleting all site data this still happens. For 2FA codes this is harmless. but I'm concerned Firefox may do this for passwords too. Anyway, why would I need to save info of TOTP?

Note: Example is for SimpleLogin.
