I got a notice that Firefox (and Thunderbird) were updated this morning. Took me an HOUR to find out how to make the miniscule font in my inbox larger. So.. suddenly, new problem.

When I click the Firefox icon to launch the browser, and reopen my tabs, It opens for a millisecond, then closes faster than I can try to read if there is an error. When I click it AGAIN, all my tabs are GONE and I have to search for them manually, which is a royal pain.

Why is this happening? How can I stop it from happening? This is annoying as hell.

Few days ago, some of our clients and few (not all) internal PC are get stucked on a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR on our website. Only on 117 windows version (118 developer version and 119 nightly seems ok). We tried to repair firefox, it works on 95% but we can't ask our client to do this. It works on Chrome & Edge.

We running out of ideas : - we only accept TLS 1.2 / 1.3 - checking CSP - Both IIS and Apache are not working - Firewall are not blocking

Seems like when I tried logging in to my old account with a password reset, I somehow created a second account with the same email.

All my bookmarks and extension set ups seem to be gone.

Never had this issue, and have been using the same firefox account for like 5 years.

Hello, once again the function of restoring recently closed windows has stopped working, it is displayed in gray and you cannot enter it I usually work on two or three windows at the same time and this function usually works, but I can't use it for the second or third time. I've been having an issue for a while now where the cloudflare challenges that ask you to click the check mark to "verify your connection is secure" would just endlessly ask me to click the button and never continue. Sometimes it would say to unblock access to challenges.cloudflare.com.

But if I a launch an incognito window I can visit website with the challenge and it won't even ask! I've added all my extensions to run in incognito mode and everything still works, I can visit the websites in incognito just fine. So the one changing variable is incognito vs non-incognito.

I can have two windows open, one incognito and one not, and browse to the same website and the non-incog window will fail but the incog will just go to the site.

I thought incognito was supposed to only affect the session storage? Does it silently change other things to the running environment of the browser (about:config options, slightly different extension configs)?

Anyone know why this small change would suddenly allow cloudflare challenges to work?

Is there a main location where Firefox extensions (like Forecastfox) keep their settings? If so, or if you happen to know where Forecastfox in particular keeps its settings, I could use some help locating this folder. I have a settings file I could put in there to overcome some difficulties that the folks at Mozillazine can't seem to help with. I use Firefox on a PC to access Facebook (website, not app). This week the Messenger/Chat feature stopped working. I click the icon and it opens but nothing appears in the box, it just hangs. There is an option to open in its own window, but that also is blank - no past messages, no contact names, no ability to start new message. When I log onto Facebook in Edge, Messenger works fine in Facebook.

I've tried everything I found on the internet for this issue - updated and refreshed Firefox, cleared history/cache/cookies/site data, uninstalled and reinstalled Messenger, refreshed Facebook to initial settings, used Firefox in troubleshooting mode, reset everything, turned off browser, turned off my computer, used shift key to reload tab - nothing has worked. There are some instructions about stuck cookies, but I didn't understand them so I didn't try that one thing. I've gone into every menu I can find to try to figure out this issue, which isn't the end of the world, but I would appreciate some other ideas for what is suddenly causing this. Because now I have to redo all of my settings and preferences and logins and the problem still isn't fixed.

I have several profiles. They all have the same Chrome folder contents, but only some of them have the "chrome_debugger_profile" folder.

I'm guessing I must have generated it along the way while tweaking the Chrome folder contents?

Please try again." I went to Settings, Manage Exceptions, entered "https://my.yahoo.com" and clicked Add Exception. "https://my.yahoo.com" it appeared in the Website listing below. I clicked Save Changes. I retried the My.Yahoo tab again and the same error resulted. Where do I need to change what preferences, Yahoo or Total Adblock?

There is an element with id "titreChapitre_-5776306477855185115" in the page (chapter "Personnes ayant un test de dépistage positif" which means "People who test positive to Covid", Chrome will scroll to this chapter (well, at least 60% of time it auto scrolls to the element) while Firefox will always display the top of the page.

The videos take a long time to play. I upgraded my system recently and was removing and reinstalling audio-related utilities with DNF.

When a bookmark is made, there is no option anywhere to add tags using windows 11 - I had no problem with tagging bookmarks using Firefox in windows 10, but that option is not showing up for me in windows 11. I have refreshed Firefox with no success to try to correct this situation - thanks in advance for any help you may provide – del

I am unable to login to my Prescription provider's website (which I do every day). Problem started Sunday and still persists.

I am able to login using Chrome, so I know the website is working properly.

Help - I DO NOT want to use Chrome.

Recently, when I try to play a video on YouTube on Firefox, there is a flickering brightness effect (some aspects of the video seem to flicker bright and dark quickly) which is distracting and makes it difficult to watch anything. The effect persists even when launching in troubleshooting mode, and disabling hardware acceleration and restarting appears to have no effect. I have also been unsuccessful refreshing Firefox. Nevertheless, this issue is absent on Safari and Chrome when watching the same video.

When I find the same video two different places (ex: the Apple Sept 12 Event on Apple's site, versus on YouTube) only the YouTube video has the issue. However, I can't find any settings to change on YouTube to help this.

On a site with a menu along the top the rightmost item is missing, and only in Firefox, not Chrome or Edge. It happens on various pages with the same menu setup. I cleared cookies & cache, turned off extensions, no luck. See attached image. What could the problem be ?

The problem is that even after I've tinkered with the about:config settings to prevent Firefox from restoring my previous session after a crash, it just won't listen! The changes I make in about:config don't seem to save, and every time Firefox crashes, it happily reloads my old tabs and windows.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
