When I am using Firefox I am no longer having anything on the taskbar to open my Emails. How do I do this? I cannot open emails in order to put back on taskbar.

I opened up my browser and all my active tabs which I have had for months are gone. I tried to go to recently closed tabs in history and it doesn't allow me to open. All are not available. Help!!

we have 2 account sign-in, my browser opens in maximized full screen, however my wife's browser opens in minimized tab on upper left window and she has to press the maximized icon to get to full screen. Could you please advise how I can correct this nuisance.

After updating to version 114 I keep having tabs crash. If I close Firefox and reopen it, the first few tabs are fine. After a bit, any tab I try to open gives me a "tab crashed" message. I can only load the default tab screen. If I try to go to Google or anywhere it crashes. I try to do a search and it crashes. I've had to use Chrome to be able to do anything.

Two questions, please

1) My Firefox ANT add-on extension apparently has a file "time limit" set to greater than 2 minutes. In other words, if I try to download a file online that is 2 minutes or less in time (i.e.- an audio file), the ANT application does see recognize or allow it. Is there a way to change this so that any file, regardless of time, can be downloaded?

2) Whenever I open Firefox, a Mozilla Policy File also opens in a second tab. Is there a way to stop this from happening every single time? It's VERY annoying!

I set my browser to use English instead of my local language and I expect sites to use English by default. Now for some reason Gmail showed me a "do you want to leave this page" browser dialogue in language other than English.

Turns out, there's a new(?) option to set alternative interface languages, and I suppose websites can now choose which one to use?

Wow, just noticed, even tooltips on this website aren't in English anymore. This is extremely annoying.

I'd love to remove the alternate language from that list and leave Firefox interface exclusively in English. There is no option to remove the second language, only to move priority (see screenshot).

Searching through about:config with "language" didn't help. The closest relevant result was for the dictionaries. I do not have problems with dictionaries; "alternate" did not bring any relevant results either.

I cannot get my extension e.g. OneNote clipper to work or be visible on my toolbar? I have tried suggestion but still not visible or working on my toolbar. Any suggestions appreciated.

When using an email "button" on a website to contact the owner, the email composition box that pops up always fills in the From line with my iCloud email address. How do I change that (permanently) to a different account?

As of a week or two ago I can no longer save URLs to bookmarks folders in my bookmarks toolbar. I can drag and drop it but nothing happens, does not save in that folder. Neither can I save a URL via clicking on the star then choosing a folder. Doesn't stick in the folder. How can I fix this.

I can't login to Playnow.

Microsoft Edge Geolocation Issue

Since the release of Microsoft Edge versions 114.0.1823.37 and 114.0.1823.41, there have been numerous reported cases of geolocation issues resulting in players being unable to log in to Playnow.com. We recommend using an older version of Microsoft Edge (113.0.1774.57) or using another browser such as Chrome .

I have the latest version of firefox as of 6/8/23. I want to be able to click on a link and the + sign on the upper left webpage, (next to the tab) to open a new window, not a new tab. I have been able to do this since firefox was invented many years ago, but suddenly the option for that in settings appears to have disappared. When I uncheck the box in the tab section in settings, "open links in tabs instead of new windows", it is still opening links in tabs. Is there a way to stop the link from opening in a new tab, and instead open a window in a new browser any more? If not, I will be sad to switch over a browser that can still do this. Hopefully someone will provide a solution. While many online posts refer to a "options" button, I only see "settings" button (when I click on the three lines in the upper right).

My old juno account is defunct. I want to keep my account using gmail address. I tried but Mozilla sends a code to my defunct juno account. Will I need to open a new account? Please send help to [email removed from public]

How do I stop firefox from preventing my mac from shutting down? All other open apps are closed and data and settings saved automatically by apple when i hit shut down but firefox just stays open and prevents shutdown until i close it manually.

All stories on Fox news and Yahoo do not show comments on the end of the stories. If I use MS edge the comment sections are there on all stories. I am using the latest mozilla program and am running windows 10.

How can I revert my sync data to what I had been using on my newer computer, following the use of an old outdated computer ? My bookmarks, passwords et al. have reverted to the old data.

I have tried to turn off sync on the older machine that I rarely use. There are many bookmarks that I need to recover now on the new machine. I had everything selected to sync to the newer data on the older machine, but it would not sync. Now my new machine shows the the old data!

I was browsing and commenting on a YouTube video, when my my typing wasn't showing up for several seconds after I typed it...like 20-30 seconds. I checked Windows Task Master and 10 instances of firefox were open (I was only using one tab) and they were using 68% of my CPU and 90% of my available memory, basically locking up my computer. I tried closing it and reopening it, but the same thing happened. I had to go to another browser. I remember this happening in the past, and I had to move to another browser permanently. I would much rather stay with Firefox if you can prevent this from happening.
