My IDM extension no longer seems to be the default downloader. Downloads now come via the native Windows (8.1) downloader. Can you suggest any way of resolving this issue?

When I go to Settings Firefox shows that it is the default browser and there isn't an option for changing it to not being the default browser for Windows, Google, and other items that I save to my Documents.

For the first time, I have got a message 'For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar.' I have always used the bookmarks toolbar. This message just takes up space, so I would like to get rid of it.

A link opens automatically in Firefox as soon as I turn on my PC. And that link redirect the page to some other link. This is happening from past several days. I have attached a SS of those links. What is the solution ? Is there a way in Firefox to block such links ? Early response appreciated.

I have been playing a forum-based game for about six months now, via FireFox. I just got a new laptop, and it won't load past the "checking browser" page. It just tells me "This challenge page was accidentally cached by an intermediary and is no longer available."

After running `snap refresh firefox`, many sites I use no longer render any text.

Via some fiddling via the developer console, it appears to be that any text with `font-family: Helvetica`. Removing that CSS restores the text, adding it removes the text.

There's a fix for CVE-2023-29537 in this release that affects font initialization - possibly related?

Hi, I just updated to the latest version of Firefox (auto), suddenly now, when I right click and quit upon closing, another icon appears, quitting again, another appears. I remove from doc, but same thing happens again upon quitting. Any help with this greatly appreciated.

Hello, in version 112.0 editor.use_div_for_default_newlines in FALSE it does not work. When I write in certain forums, it creates a double space between lines, any help?

I have a new HP Pavilion 24 AiO PC. I want to transfer all of my browser settings, most visited sites and history from my old PC to this new PC within Firefox. Can I just Copy/Paste these settings from my old PC to the new one?

I've downloaded Firefox as my server with Duckduckgo as my search engine. When I attempt to type in the search bar in the middle of the page, it kicks me to upper URL area. Any suggestions as to why the search bar in middle of page won't let me enter text?

So I know this has been talked about, but none of the "Solutions" work. I'm not sure why or whats causing it, but my YouTube never loads fast, or hardly at all. Usually the video only loads/buffers till about 1 min into any given video. Mind you this is only on 720p or 1080p HD. I never go any higher and my internet speed is ~400Mbps down and ~22Mbps up. I've already tried the following:

1. Disable Hardware Acceleration 2. Clear Cache and Cookies 3. Refresh Firefox 4. Check HTML 5 Video Player 5. Made sure Firefox was updated

I do use some extensions like: - Dark Reader - Privacy Badger - uBlock Origin - Bitwarden (Shouldn't affect) - Honey (Isn't turned on for YouTube) - Enhancer for YouTube (New, so it does not affect load)

Any Suggestions?

When i try to log into my Home Health software my account will not load. It is a redirect webpage. I have allowed it in the cookies/blocked pages tab. It still will not load. It is a blank page.

New Firefox version 112.0 turn my browsing to hell. It logs off me from all sites when I switch off my computer and after I come back online read cookies wrong.

How can I roll back to the previous version?

I am trying to clear my Firefox history, and every time I clear it, the same four websites remain in the history panel. I've tried removing them one at a time, but they just reappear when I restart the browser. I've tried everything I can think of, and any help would be much appreciated.
