I am prevented from downloading an important document because the site says that I need to disable an ad blocker. I am not aware of having an ad blocker and nothing shows up in add ons and extensions. How do I find and disable an ad blocker that I cannot find?

after the last update, the keyboard shortcut shift+esc opens the processes menu. i would like to disable it - this is the same shortcut that i frequently need to use on a specific website, and needing to close the processes menu every time is deeply annoying

Was online at Facebook.com and playing a game when suddenly I got the error (SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG) that came up,and have not been able to return to that page since. Please help I am no computer wiz!!! Thank you, Leslie Holt

I've had Firefox since it's been around and not had this issue, I have a Mac with OS Monterey 12.6. Firefox is up to date and about two weeks ago with about 10 tabs open a tab crashed which probably hasn't happened in a couple years. I tried re-opening but it just crashed. I clicked the next and it crashed, then to the next and it crashed, etc. They all crashed soon as you clicked on them. I switched over to Chrome to see if I could even look something up because as soon as you clicked on anything with Firefox it crashed. I restarted Firefox and tabs just crashed. I let it sit and came back 8 hours later & all worked fine. A day later tabs started crashing again. On and off for the last two weeks tabs just keep crashing intermittently on Firefox and they only way to fix it is take a break and come back in an hour+. Then maybe a tab will crash and it will continue to work for a little while when you restart tab or maybe it will just crash as fast as you click Restart Tab. I currently have 2 crashed tabs and I'm surprised its letting my type this with a crashed tab, when I tried opening another, it just opened a crashed tab. I wouldn't doubt if it crashes in the middle of typing and I have to come back in an hour to finish. I can't find a solution on Google and if this keeps up, I'm going to have to drop Firefox as this happens throughout the day for work. Any Ideas what this might be? If you think it's a computer issue, I'll call Apple, but no solutions on Google make sense. Thanks for any help.

Note, these tabs are crashing on every site you can think of from Yahoo, Mail, Google, Facebook, Amazon, youtube, etc.

Hi, Thank you for your help, this my question: I'm using the dark theme. I would like to change the Menu bar color and only the menu bar color. I want to allow websites access to my exact location. Where in about:config preferences do I set this up? I have read many confusing threads about this all over the web. And I may have messed up a few of those preferences. So please tell me about related preferences and what their settings should be too.

I also want to block all other location info such as from my IP, Google, wifi, cell towers, etc.. So that the websites only get the exact latitude and longitude. It is easy for me to get my exact latitude and longitude by searching for my address on Google Maps. The latitude and longitude is in the resulting URL.

I am on a desktop PC using Windows 10 Pro.

This is just a complaint . . . Settings>Cookies and Site Data>Manage Data does not show the server that set a cookie, it only shows the domain -- e.g. domain.com, not https://www.domain.com or even www.domain.com However, Settings>Cookies and Site Data>Manage Exceptions requires the complete server name. If I don't include "https://" or "http://" it adds them. This makes it difficult or impossible to actually manage exceptions; I can't specify which cookie(s) I want to allow, block, or save if I can't see the data that's stored.

Why can't I choose a domain in Manage Data and get a Manage Exceptions pop-up?

I have developed some training with html canvas. The target classroom PCs have no internet connection. I loaded the standard Firefox file on a portable hard drive, but when I go to load it on the classroom PCs it attempts to connect to the internet. Is there an offline version?

I have been trying to remove "Your browser is being managed by your organisation" simply because the browser is on my home PC and not being managed by any organisation. However, I have an issue with registry editor as it does not have Mozilla or Firefox keys in "Policies" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies" or "HKEY_CURRENT_USER". I would be grateful for any advice to overcome this issue as it annoyingly restricts access to web pages.

12/23/22 After trying for a week to install your mozilla software (thinking this would help to install google play store apps) on my Dell windows pc - it never worked so I requested a refund. I still need assistance in using the firefox browser to install a google play store app specifically the LaView app. Would appreciate your assistance. Henry Mazik

Since upgrading to OS Ventura, my iMac can't stream Prime videos on Firefox. My Mac Book has no problem on the same Amazon Prime account. If I use Safari on the iMac, it works fine. Anyone else had this problem?

I come back to use Firefox and discovered my personal email was associated with an account I created 5 years ago with my professional email that has been destroyed since then.

In the Firefox account settings it says: "Access your account if you can’t log in to your primary email."

But if I try to "Make primary" my secondary email it asks for a confirmation code from the primary email which I don't have access.

If I want to remove my secondary email in order to use it to create another account, it asks for a confirmation code.

If I want to delete the account, it asks for a confirmation code.

It's hard to understand what the use of a secondary email if it can't be used when needed.

What are my option to be able to use my personal email (secondary email of an existing account). Doesn't matter if I have to recreate an account but my personal email is locked to that account.

PS: I have access to the Firefox account but can't access the primary email.

Youtube autoplay stopped to work properly.

After previous video next video really starts automatically then, may be after half a second or second, the video stops and returns to intro splash screen of the video. One must press Play to start this next video again. I tried next steps: 1. In Firefox Privacy and security settings / Autoplay: I allowed audio and video autoplay for all sites 2. On the left side of URL string for Youtube site I pressed the button and also allowed audio and video autoplay for the site. The image on this button changed. I reloaded Youtube - no effect, reloaded Firefox and Youtube - all the same.

3. I checked Youtube autoplay in Microsoft Edge browser - it works correctly.

What should be done in Firefox to restore autoplay? I don't remember when this problem appeared.

I had Norton password manager in Firefox. I have now installed a new norton 360 and the password manager does not work. It shows as being installed but it will not operate, only on Chrome browser. How do I activate this?

cant find how to add another account, every help thing i find seems to be outdated. i have multiple accounts i use on chrome, and want to move some to here, but i need help finding how
