how do i unlock the privacy and security panel so i can make changes; i am a solo practioner and have 2 computers; one has that panel unlocked, and the other is locked. How to unlock? thanks

The tool tip colour for the Downloads is white text over a yellow background - it's practically impossible to read. Perhaps this is an error with the release, but if not, can this extreme lack of textual contrast be changed? I need dark / black text on light backgrounds.

It seems like a malware but I ran a few different tools and nothing was found. Every time I search something is shows google results for half a second then goes to Bing. Any ideas?

I am using Firefox for ARM64 Windows and noticed that the browser will lock up at random (roughly every half an hour, and usually after trying to navigate to a new page). As the browser doesn't actually crash, just freezes, I have no crash reports to submit.

I am using a Windows Devkit for ARM.

As a developer myself, my instinct tells me this could be an issue with Firefox's JIT for Arm64 platforms but I have no proof.

Hello, I'm running Firefox 106.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 (all updates applied) I'm not sure if this issue is related to a Firefox update yesterday (27/10/2022), but I can no longer log in to sainsburys.co.uk. I have used Firefox for years on this website and have never before encountered an error. I called Sainsburys support and I don't think anything has changed on their site. Their site uses two-factor authentication and after entering an email address and password, the site generates an error message asking the user to contact Sainsburys support. I have no problems with authenticating on other sites and I can log onto sainsburys.co.uk using Google Chrome. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

i accidentally deleted 1 month out of my history from the side tab, is there any way to retrieve it back, i have not shut down FF as yet. thank you in advance. Garry (member)

For the recent past, the font size on FF tabs, url, bookmark bar, tabs and anything else to do with the actual FF program has a font so small that it is unreadable unless I use the W10 magnifier. I have spent hours, days and weeks trying everything I can find to increase the font size and nothing has worked. I am vision impaired and understand that everything cannot be adjusted to my needs BUT there are hundreds of postings on line by people with good vision complaining about the non adjustable font sizes. Does FF have any intentions on finding a fix for this? I am an avid user of FF but am at a point with my vision to where it is too problematic for me to continue using. If you cannot fix this issue then I must find a program that does not have this problem. It may very well be a conflict between FF and W10 but even that were the case, there are supposed to be a lot of intellingent individuals that should be able to remedy this situation. Please advise of your intentions as soon as possible in order that I may proceed with my plans. Sincerely, Ron Burnes

Hello. Why does the safe search option when I search for something repeatedly change from where I set it, at "off," to "moderate?" It's very annoying to have to keep changing it back to off. Does it change to moderate on its own when I clear the cache? If so, why is there not a setting in preferences so it's permanently set to whatever I want it to be until I change it, cache clearing or not?

Thanks for any help on this. Recently I was organizing fonts on my machine [macbookpro] and something happened to Arial, the font that Firefox uses. I've uploaded some screenshots. The letters are all jumbled up. I tried to investigate a solution in my preference folder but couldn't find anything about resting a font.

I just recently went from Brave browser back to the old days on Firefox but there is one thing that I miss and I cant find any information anywhere about that when I opened new tabs on Brave it didnt switch to the new tab directly. Sometimes I wanna open alot of links from a page but its a real hazzle here when I need to go back to the old tab again everytime. Is there a setting for that anywhere?

I don't want any part of my sites exposed to the wider internet, so I'm not going to have ssl certificates.

I don't want to use self signed certificates either. Since it's all local, http is fine. Firefox should not override access of http to https.

Today a Firefox box popped up to try some new colors (which was suppose to be a representation of my being or something like that). There were several colors to choose from so I tried it. The menu bar is now the color I chose. But suppose I want to change back to the standard FF color or some other color, how do I do that?

A. On the taskbar in windows 11 i cannot immediately see that i have for instance 4 windows open. Is there a possibility to see four firefox icons? B. And when i shut down firefox, then via restart, the windows that i've opened seem to return in a random way when i put the arrow on the firefox icon. Can i set firefox to always put my most used window, for instance the window that has the most pinned tabs, at the left side?

www.yahoo.com will not load. Quote, "The page isn't redirecting Properly. An error occurred during a connection to guce.yahoo.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

How does this occur when I have not changed my settings? So, this is something Yahoo has done. I want to minimize how many cookies are on my PC, what do I need to do?

Firefox instructions for creating an electronic signature tell you to go to "Options" in the "tools" list, which I assume is the list under the three parallel lines in the upper right corner. There is no "Options" section in this list on my browser, either by itself or under one of the other categories in the list, or anywhere else that I can find on the browser website. So I can make no progress. Suggestions?
