Concurrent with updating to Firefox 126.0, when typing into the address bar, the list of suggested sites covers-up the address bar. In fact, the top of the list is off the screen. I don't see any other posts relative to this, am I the only one with this problem... and how do I fix it?

About tab crashes Every time I open Firefox, it crashes immediately and does not trigger the crash report window. Even though I have checked and enabled the option to send crash reports in the settings, it doesn't work. When I look for crash report logs, it shows that I have not sent any crash reports.I've tried many methods to view the crash report, but it just shows that there are none. I only found this information related to crash reports in the installation files.(you can see it in the picture)，hope someone can answer this question, thank you very much.😭

I have pictures that are slanted. Chrome, and Safari don't do this, so I know it is something with Firefox. Every once and awhile Firefox also has little square dots that appear s’ for ‘Firefox’

Hi when i have to download my bios updates i am being forced to use misrosoft edge or chrome none of which i use , so the question is can i use firefox safely thanks . Lee

AVG has ended Online Security Add on for Firefox and AVG has told me that I may not be secure when I use Firefox. How can I stay secure on Firefox. I do not want to have to use any other browser.

I basically hate exclamation marks. I want to hide them. They are mainly in ads, in pages contents, everywhere. Buy! Do! Now! It is most disturbing character and it should be forbidden in non-meaningful manners. Years ago I saw such extension but I lost it due to many Firefox updates, which disabled some of them.

Some stupid admakers go wild and put it in end of every button and line.

Sir, my hp desktop PC is having -- windows10, Firefox, connect cable Broadband with 100mbps speed, Ethernet, periodically updated. I am very much fond of watching English/Foreign language movies having English CC/Subtitles, online streaming, generally on paid channels e.g. Netflix, prime video, Hotstar, you tube etc. I am not proficient in English language. To read the English CC/subtitles, I have to pause the streaming, read the subtitle and then start the streaming (pause-start, pause-start). After about 15 minutes watching the film, the screen becomes black (no video), with a no signal detected message. But audio/sound remains continue. Then I switch off the PC, restart it, and watch the movie for next 15 minutes., then again black screen.This cycle goes on. But When I watch the film continuously, without pause-start function, then there is no black screen problem. In my opinion this repeated pause-start function causes the black screen problem. Without pause-start function, I cannot watch these movies. I tried some online mentioned solutions without success. Please help me in solving this problem in a simple way as I am not perfect in computer science. Regards.

I'm experiencing an issue, when I visit this website in Firefox, some images appear broken, but they display perfectly in other browsers. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

I belong to almost a dozen regional 'yard sale' groups, and suddenly can no longer post 'for sale' in ANY of them including Marketplace. Yet in the same groups I can post and reply to messages

Once again Firefox has decided to take over and change all my settings! I had finally managed to prevent it updating, as each and every time I had to reinstall all my setting and extentions from scratch. Today, it decided to clear all my preferences and change itself to its own default settings. OK, so I can change my profile option, except all three are using the same defaults: I appear to have lost all my settings and extensions entirely. OK, I'll copy from my backup, but once again the three backup profiles are being overwritten with the defaults. Even my third backup of last March overwrites to the defaults! How and why is Firefox managing to keep overwriting my defaults to its own preferred settings? How do I stop it doing this and regain my own preferences?

I also tried Sync and now I am getting bookmarks from over five years ago! And once again my settings are changing to the defaults. Surely a Sync should overwrite with the current bookmarks and settings not just keep adding more and more. I am now in a right mess again. Back to losing everything with updates. I am a great believer in the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' mentality, but Firefox has broken itself and is refusing to allow me to change to how it used to be! How do I restore my own preferences and prevent Firefox from changing them to what it wants.

Sorry to have this same issue again, knowing full well it can happen after finding this some years ago (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1319823), I tried to carefully connect two older PC devices back to firefox sync, however on one I managed to enable sync before disconnecting my profile (it seemed as if reconnecting sync temporarily was the only way to disconnect a profile from firefox's UI - I should have been more careful and removed the profile from the filesystem level): at which point I polluted the sync server.

I've noticed that `about:sync` has an option under bookmarks/engine actions 'wipe bookmarks', which sounds exactly what I need, and if I watch what happens once pressed it does the right thing and repopulates the sever with the 'correct' PC's bookmark set (when run from that PC), however it also says 'other devices will act like a reset', which i'm finding NOT to be the case: eventually one of my other device repollutes the server with bad bookmarks which propogate.

I'm thinking the culprits are my phones, If I wipe and do a sync on a phone, my phone's bookmarks stay polluted. If i'm right about that, I think my question is: can I wipe my profile (or preferably only my bookmarks) from my phones' Firefox without having to entirely uninstall/reinstall (or do you have any other advice for not re-polluting the server from some already-polluted device's bookmarks?

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

When accessing my site (in attachment to avoid indexing), Firefox blocks with a "Possible security risk" interstitial. DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

This current version of Firefox (126.0) is preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing/displaying in ANY Yahoo! article. After I finished reading a Yahoo! article, the Yahoo! Comments is viewed but upon clicking on Comments, it just disappeared. It happens in any Yahoo! article with Comments. I used Safari to see if I experience similar issue but Safari is able to show/display Yahoo! Comments upon clicking on them. I have no other browser plug-in or app in Firefox preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing, it seems to be a Firefox JavaScript issue.

Hello, How can we disable QUIC with the latest ADMX or via registry entry on Windows 10. I see not settings under ADMX that can assist in doing so. I dont mind implementing a registry entry in GPO as well.

I have been using Firefox for many years and never had issues. Two days ago, I turned on my HP with Windows 10 and I got a pop up message something about Error Platform 126.0 XUL Runner is not compatible. I could not access Firefox, Google, or the internet. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, but after that, everything runs very slow. Each time I go into a website, it can take up to over a minute to pull up! I cannot even delete email from my Gmail! It's piling up. Downloading can take over an hour! I checked all the trouble shooting forums in Mozilla and tried just about everything. I went back into "About:profile"s and created a new profile. It it did not make any difference. I also did a Firefox refresh. Did not help any. I went back into the profile I had before the XUL error because my bookmarks were there. Still slow. I cleaned out the cache, in both Firefox and my Windows 10. made no difference. I only have three extensions in Firefox. I don't know what else I can do to fix this. Also, my drivers and other software are automatically updated by Windows. My HP is only 2 years old as well. Everything was fine in Firefox until that XUL error message popped up and I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. That is when everything became agonizingly slow!

Update: My computer is barely usable anymore because of the Firefox issue. Having to wait for a minute or more for everything I do on the internet? I know it cannot be my computer itself because it is not even two years old yet. I may have to dump Firefox if I cannot get this fixed. I have Norton 360 and it is not malware or a virus. Firefox messed something up.

I'm unable to open pdf in mozila as it is showing access denied in acrobatservices.adobe.com in the all other browser its opeing perfectly please fix this issue vfast opens in chrome and stuck in mozila at 100% and screen gets blanked as the access is denied helpppp
