clear sign on info from certain websites

When watching Channel 4 programmes over the Internet, I have recently experienced sound distortion.

This does not occur whilst the adverts are playing! It does not occur with Youtube videos or other streaming websites. It is accentuated when moving my mouse.

So far I have tried numerous fixes without success, including changing the mouse, reinstalling Firefox, etc. but the problem continues.

I do not seem to have the problem with Opera (sorry).

Have recent updates with Firefox caused this problem?

Can you suggest any fixes?

Using Google Keep Notes and I have found that the option to have a "New Note with Drawing" is just not on the screen. Everything else seems to work fine. The note with drawing works fine in Brave and Edge, but not Firefox. I've tried disabling add-ons and reverted back to Standard version of Enhanced Tracking. Still not working in FF. Maybe this is just a Chromium feature?? I'm on Ff 85.0.1. Let me know if any other information would be useful. Thanks for your thoughts!

Lockwise changed my stored password for dpreview.com in a very long secure key. Of course I could not log in anymore. I dit not change anything myself. I was suddenly logged out of the website and the stored password did not work anymore. I am on the beta channel.

I am using Firefox 85.0.1 on Win 10. I have saved Here WeGo as a bookmark and also use it. I noticed that the exact location could not be found even though I granted all permissions. What else can I do?

PS: the location determination works with Google Maps.

Under Microsoft Edge, the location is displayed on Google Maps and Here WeGo.

After banking on line for ages I suddenly get this message when trying to go to my bank log in page.

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to auth.scotiaonline.scotiabank.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I have not changed any settings since last accessing this page???

Since about one week, Firefox inspector doesn't show right css rules.

e.g. Inspector: .background-image-cover {

   padding-top: 20px;

}

real: .background-image-cover {

 background-position: center;
 background-repeat: no-repeat;
 background-size: cover;
 }

The website itself is displayed properly. Also this issue occurs on every website I developed, and were css was formerly displayed correct by the Inspector.

Before you could save direct access to any page just by dragging it to the desktop, you can no longer and that is wrong since it was a very useful functionality, I hope you will fix it if I will not have to change the browser, in the others if you can.

I have recently switched my default browser to Firefox for speed. Every time I log into Facebook, it says I need a one time code. I get the code and confirm to FB that "it is me", but the next time I go in, I have to start all over.

I use Firefox for personal/school, and Nightly for work. Apps like Zoom and WhatsApp I use for everything. Is there a way to make links clicked in these or other external apps open in the browser I'm currently using? As of now everything opens in Firefox, which is distracting and flow-breaking if I'm working in Nightly. This may be because Firefox is my 'default profile'? I'd be happy to not have a default and whichever one I'm using is the go-to for links, etc. I recently (and happily!) switched from Chrome, which actually handled this scenario optimally. Thanks for any advice.

Why have I TWO fake book ID's ,both using the same email address, 1 as an Admin on several pages, the other as a nameless pleb? I'm not surpriosed pepole are leaving those fake buk CUNTS in their droves.....the information I get for the same page differs too, one claiming it was set up in 2018, the other in 2014

and of course , being the fake book motherfucking bastards, the entire site is run by algorithms, so there are no PEOPLE there to solve an issue like this

When I click to autofill a web site box asking for my email address, it displays my personal address plus personal addresses I mistyped. How do I delete the mistyped addresses?

The site refreshes every minute and it is suggested you not manually refresh. If there are appointments available, it changes to display a couple of buttons "Wait" and "Book Now".

Microsoft Edge displays the buttons on the time that they advertise appointments will be available. Firefox does NOT change - it seems to ignore the auto-refresh. You have to stop it (kill it completely) and restart.

I had been relying on Firefox and never got through. Being old, I started an Edge window as backup - just in case - and got my Appointment using EDGE.

This problem almost cost me a VACCINE APPOINTMENT!!!!

When I try to load gmail on Firefox I am taken to a page that wants to know if I really want to load the html version of gmail or do I want to be taken to the newest version. When selected, the last option does not work at all. Gmail works perfectly on other browsers, just not on Firefox. I have cleared my caches, cookies, and even passwords for gmail. I have made sure my Firefox version is current, rebooted my computer, and done anything else I can think of to clear this problem but nothing helps. I have not noticed this problem with any sites other than gmail. Fortunately, I am able to access my gmail accounts on Safari with no problem but I prefer to use Firefox. Attached is a screen shot of the image I find when loading the gmail.

Hello When I want to access my student's mail in Outlook it says an error occured and doesn't sign me in, i dont know why: it's been functionning well until 2 weeks ago. There is no problem when using Google Chrome though so it comes from Mozilla. Moreover, when I go on Google Drive with Mozilla and try to download images or files, it just doesn't occur (there is no error message). Again, it happened at the same time around 2 weeks ago and there is no problem with Chrome, i can dowload it. I dont know why it changed of all a sudden but i hope it can be fixed as I want to keep Mozilla as my navigator but with these problems I will have to change to Chrome...

I tried "fixing mozilla" but it did not changed anything.

I've told Firefox to always open PDFs in Firefox. Google Docs/Sheets always generates a PDF when told to print. These PDFs are not opening in Firefox. If I set Firefox to 'always ask', I receive the prompt for what to do with the PDF from Google, and here I can open it in Preview (I am on Mac) or tell it to open in Firefox and it will open a new tab and display the PDF. But if Firefox is told to always open the PDF itself, then no new tab opens with the PDF, and the PDF doesn't load in the existing tab either. Is there a way to have Firefox always open up PDFs -and- have the Google generated PDF open properly?

If it helps, I am on MacOS Big Sur 11.2, but have seen this with previous versions of the OS. Firefox is up to date (85.0.2), but I've also seen this happen with earlier versions of Firefox. I have tried this with all extensions off as well as the usual extensions on. Google is generating the PDF using pdf.js, but nothing seems to be blocking the javascript or generating any errors, I checked in the developer tools (console and networking and debugger).

Using an Espressif Systems ESP8622 Espressif Systems ESP8622 I am trying to delve into the IOT. A simple page I uploaded to the 8622 last night would not display in FF. (78.7.1esr running on 2009 MAcPro OS 10.11.6). The page - displaying data from a DHT22 Temp & Humidity sensor appeared very briefly in the FF browser only to be replaced by a “Connection was reset” dialog. The ESP8622 is over WiFi through my router where could see it. I could also Ping it. I tried the local IP on another Mac using Chrome and the page loaded and stayed up and ditto result on a Pi4 in Chrome. Possible cause - a setting in config? Somewhere I keep away from unless guided! Just in case it helps - Hoping someone can throw some light...
