cannot play Pogo games can't find areas suggested in help files tool bar doesn't look like one presented. activated Java adobe flash does not show up in addons. IE 7 and Chrome no longer support java what else can I do.

My Flash and Java both are installed and updated. My facebook videos work fine. Im encountering problems in sites like < watchseries.lt > and < free-tv-video-online.info >. Can't play live streams on < firstrowsports.eu > either.

If I open a Medscape slide show, of skin lesions for example, there are 2 buttons that can be used to advance the slides: one at the right edge of the picture itself and one just above the picture. Neither of them work. When I click on the arrows they turn black as if they're going to work but nothing advances. Neither does using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Java and Flash are recently updated. The slideshow works just fine in Safari. Any ideas?

I get script error messages when running Weatherbug and recently when I tried to view visuals on the web related to redeeming my credit card rewards, with the last keeping me from progressing any further.

During Log In to PayPal, after entering the CMS-sent text code (using PayPal's 2-factor login procedure), Firefox stalls while loading the next page, and continues trying to load, indefinitely. The page suggests "Try Again", if load attempt stalls, so I click "Try again", and then get the "Re-direct Error Message" that's shown in the attached screen capture.. I have re-tried the same scenario, several times, both yesterday and today, with the same results. Trying the same scenario in Google Chrome does not result in an error, and I've not had this error in any prior version of Firefox under Windows 10 Pro.

Hi, I'm trying to file income tax returns from India. The tax authorities use a Java plug in for signing and uploading xml files. When I try to do this, I get the error message "Cannot read the file for signing <<file name>>".

Please help resolve.

I go on my banking website, and it shows recent transactions for last 10 days. Change the number to "last 31 days", NOTHING happens! Change to other viewing options. Nothing again!! If I replay the exact same choices out of Explorer, the screen updates immediately. I have noticed this happening more and more, recently. Various other websites offer buttons to select something, I click on them or hit Submit, and NOTHING happens. Replay in Explorer, it goes along fine. THIS NEVER USED TO HAPPEN BEFORE! WHAT'S WRONG, MOZILLA ?!?! I've used Firefox for a decade without this crap happening. Now I have to keep switching over more and more frequently to Explorer just to get past certain screens. Even when I was on the Mozilla site and described this issue in this "Questions" section, when I hit Submit, NOTHING HAPPENED! I had to re-do the whole bloody thing via Explorer. I tried rebooting Firefox in Safe Mode, and nothing changed, for ANY of the websites visited. You're losing it, Firefox. Fix this issue, or you'll be hearing the sound of thousands of users rushing out the door.

Note in the attached image, I switched to May's statement, but it's still locked on September. In Explorer, the update is immediate. This happens several times a day now. Getting exasperated. Will switch soon to something that WORKS, if this isn't fixed.

I have placed this for the third time but has been removed from the forum. I f I go to https://www.openmailbox.org/#register using Firefox version 40.0 for the Mac OS sha 256 e7cb59924e6ca4b79426da224204ed2e0dac7804f0a29a33299370c7e73341a5 does not show the captcha for the web site. If I open Safari on my local machine or Firefox for Android it shows the captcha.

I have removed the profile, refresh firefox.

hi, every time i have checked back in with my plug-ins for at least the past 3 years, java has been continued to be disabled by firefox. But when i click on "check for updates",

it always just leads me to a page that tells me why it is disabled, not if there is an update, or ever will be.
Is it recommended to just forget about java ever being useful again?

And then what should i do instead, like when a site requires java to work properly? thanks!

I have removed all add-ons, refresh firefox and removed all profiles.

I am attempting to import HTML files from one computer to a new one & keep getting 'Warning Unresponsive Script' messages. I have had at least 10 & each time have to press the 'stop script' button. I have no idea how long this is going to go on for. How do I stop this stupid unhelpful process & just import my HTML files?

Hi. Up until yesterday I always use java 6 u 17 (32 bit) and the plug-in at Firefox (ver 40) is working fine. One day for development purpose I had to uninstall my java and install java 6 u 45 (64 bit). Suddenly the java plug-in disappear from Firefox. After googling for a while it seems Firefox won't discover it because it was in the blocked list. Is there any way for me to install java plugins 6 updates 45 to Firefox? FYI, the java plugins was detected and works well in IE 11.

I use POGO.com to play games.

When I attempt to sign in I get an error stating that I need to have java script enabled.

It is enabled and yet I keep getting this error.

Everything works fine when using Internet Explorer.

This have been happening for approximately a month now.

Any help is appreciated.

Whenever I open a page which requires Java, Firefox doesn't ask me whether or not to allow it (Even though the settings say that it should ask me), and just closes. This happens every time I open a page for which Java is required.
