All my bookmarks on my toolbar vanished, even though they're still listed as being bookmarked on the toolbar, and the toolbar itself is still present. Only around 2 or 3 times have they actually shown up within the past month or so with all of the times I start up Firefox. What's the deal?

I need to know how to delete the entries which autofill when this webpage's indicated field in the screendump is clicked.

I read the help guide does the instructions have no results.

I went into setting and Firefox is not on the list of defaults. I think the issue is that I downloaded Firefox through the website and not the MS app store. Because when I open the "Look for the app in Microsoft Store" tab on the default list, it opens the store and lets me download Firefox again. I wouldn't mind doing this but it downloads it to my C drive and I need it on my F drive because my C drive is my SSD and is used for only Windows and because Windows keep getting bigger and bigger, I am running out of storage on it. When I try to move the newly downloaded Firefox to my F drove through the "Apps & Features" menu where you can uninstall apps. It tells me Firefox can't be moved. So there seems to be a communication error between windows and the none app store download.

The pics show the default option first with Firefox downloaded from the web not being there (setting 1), then Firefox being there (setting 3), and last the failure to move the files to the F drive (setting 2). Any help would be great. Thanks.

Despite i selected "always show" in the options of the menu toolbar, as indicated in many answers and guides, Mozilla keeps randomly to show or not to show (most of the times) my bookmarks in the top bar. The bookmarks are still there if i press on top on bookmarks in fact they appear, simply they are not anymore in the bar. I have reset several times to default from the options but it doesnt change anything. Any clue? Thank you

Firefox stopped working on me recently, so I had to close it through Task Manager and then reload all my tabs.

However, istead of Firefox doing this it 'refreshed', now all my tabs are gone, and worse still all my saved passwords.

I rely on Firefox remembering these passwords as I can't, how do I get them back? My life is toast without them.

Please help, I need to talk to someone on how to get them back.

Suddenly (today) games at the NY times website do not fully load. The games affected for me are spelling bee, the mini-crossword and the crossword. Wordle still works. I saw some articles about Wordle from a few months ago, and tried clearing cookies from the games website but I still have the problem.

So I have this issue with my Firefox install on my PC. For one reason or another Google services (Gmail, search, etc) do not seem to always work. They have moments where they will search or load emails, but most of the time they spin, give an error in gmail, or just won't try searching at all (hit search and just dead and blank screen).

[Oops... the system encountered a problem (#001) - Retrying..] - one of the errors commonly seen in gmail.

All I run is Ublock Origin, Keepa (amazon price tracking) and LastPass.

I've tried a total uninstall using Reva Uninstaller so it deletes remaining files. Chrome does work just fine, so it doesn't seem to be any sort of firewall or anything blocking it. I've tried going into about:serviceworkers as I saw there was an old bug having to clear out google services in there. It does maybe help at first, but they come back and it doesn't always fix it anyway.

Is there anything else I'm missing?

I use Firefox account to save my id/passwords. I did a mistake by clicking on "delete all ids" (in french: "Supprimer tous les identifiants..." into credentials panel. Is there a copy or something to restore a previous version of all my IDs/password ?

Hello there to all.. I have been experiencing occasional crashes on the tab when left idle for a while!! I am using Ubuntu linux 22.04 when this occurs..! In Windows 11 or even Windows 10 x64 pro this does not occur to my knowledge at all.. So I am wondering why this is happening only on ubuntu linux 22.04 and not anywhere else??.. Crashes freeze ups Tired of them all day every day. Cache fills up and computer shuts down. 24 Firefox processes ,,, 37 Firefox processes and every one of them is storing history and cookies till the system stops.. Performance section? Worthless. Does not matter what is checked or unchecked,, and NEVER has there appeared a box to choose a limit of 6 or 8 processes.. WTF

So Firefox did an auto-update a few days ago, and when I opened the browser EVERYTHING was gone. Passwords, bookmarks, etc.

I've managed to get the old bookmarks moved over, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the old passwords back. The old data is in a folder on my desktop, do I just copy and paste the login and key 4 files from that folder to the new folder?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, I'm a pleb and this is the first time I've experienced this. :(

ABC (Australia) https://iview.abc.net.au/ No longer plays video. It does on other browsers. I've followed FF advice ive come across by disabeling extentions/add ons, restarted FF but no luck. Also, I've started in safe mode. Also no luck.

Why is there now no option to close present tab only when clicking on X. The old (default) warning was excellent. With no warning, clicking the X kills Firefox - and all open tabs. This has lost me hours of work already. i certainly don't want to go down the route of restoring all tabs first. I can't rely on it, for instance, holding all comments made on a form. And for that matter, I wouldn't want that to reinstate a login.

Please can we return to the warning with 2 options Close all tabs and Close current tab only.

I cannot removed total adblock and especially the ad for total adblock. I tried to follow the instructions, but they do not bring up the menu that they are supposed to bring up. HELP

Why is firefox automatically downloading strange files I've never seen before? (MEUIVFJ-.htm and 3tHMwYhc) They look a little untrustworthy. My download dropdown suddenly showed me that one had been downloaded, and then a while later the other one was downloaded. Are these actual Mozilla files? Or are they some kind of scam/trojan/spyware? I just realized that two were downloaded last month as well.

My firefox is downloading all the adobe files even though i have turned of the auto download option. Also whenever any pdf file i try, it gives me an option of open with or save file. I am trying open with & firefox still downloads that file to my system. Can anyone help
