I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

After upgrading Firefox from 102 to 103, LastPass Federated Login extension hangs (blank white screen) after Okta login completes. Firefox 102, works fine. Unfortunately, I cannot stop the automatic upgrade for Firefox. LastPass is critical to my work and I've uninstalled it as a result. I've contributed to both Firefox and Thunderbird as I believe they are the best at what they do.

Please let me know when this will be fixed, or how to disable automatic upgrades.

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

What was changed on the last update.... All the pages I visited prior were compressed to the window size.... Now things seem larger and I now have to use the horizontal scroll to see the whole page...

Help, or I will have to revert to the previous version.....

i try to use firefox multiaccount container but it does not work. Better said if i add the add-on it does not show up in system bar (up in the right corner), but you can see it in the add-ons and themes setting menu. So there is only half of layout given but no function of it at all compairing to other persons using it, e.g. "how to use firefox multiaccount container tutorial videos" etc. Trying to handel the settings of it with the add-ons and themes menu does not help.

I use the firefox browser protable eddion for windows at my laptop and it seems to be that all settings are recent. As well it does not seem to be that i use there any privat tab where it does not work i guess?!

May someone can help me?

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

I'm using and old operating system on my computer, and the latest version of Firefox seems to overtax my graphics card, even with the most mundane websites and functions. So, I had to downgrade versions to the one just previous to today's update to even get here. However, it makes you create a new profile instead of using an existing one. Is there some way to get around this?

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

I imagine this belongs in the customize controls area as it's part of settings that we are supposed to have control over and after messing around and changing everything to ask first I am still unhappy. At least I found the reason for my displeasure after reading about the new release of FF98.

Why did you change the protocol for saving files? Not having that dialog box pop up is very inconvenient. I haven't tried to play any files since FF 98 downloaded to my pc but I bet it's equally as annoying. Please go back to the old way in your next release. Some of us are in the camp of Who Moved My Cheese and we don't like this new change. It's bad enough that I have to deal with black background on menus etc due to the background I chose but this is nuts. Thank you.

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

The headers/Titles section with site icons has doubled in size, top to bottom, impacting pages I'm on, eg how far you can scroll down. I want to shrink it back to how it was a few days ago, please, TIA

This morning YOPmail showed up on my windows 10 foxfire as a pinned tab. It claims to be an extension (chrome). Nowhere does anyone say it is malicious...but I want it gone and nowhere is there instructions on how to remove it...I have contacted the dev. we'll see...

It is my business computer and I don't like software, apps, code, extensions or add-ons that i cant get rid of.

Any help would be appreciated.

For me, running 101.0 on Windows 11, Firefox disregards the selected theme and shows web pages in black no matter what I do (except for these support pages, oddly). Sometimes it renders as black text on a black background, making it impossible to use. My windows theme is "Light", my Firefox theme is "Light". I CAN select ALWAYS to override every web page with a light background and dark text, but obviously that interferes with the design of most web pages. This problem has persisted for months. I have read the suggestions about changing UI settings in about:config and none of them work. As much as I love Firefox and Mozilla, there are many web pages rendered unusable by this problem, and I am about ready to throw in the towel and start using Chrome.

I am looking for a toolbar addon that allows shortcuts to local applications. Example, shortcuts to notepad, word, calc etc... on a toolbar (like the firefox [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[B]-toolbar)

There are launchers and such to launch applications, but I just want a dedicated toolbar for this where I can place shortcuts to firefox tools/utilities on there.

10+ years ago there was an addon for firefox that was a simple toolbar which could handle url's, local applications...anything as long as it could be created as a shortcut on the desktop. But I can't find it anymore it probably got dis-continued.

Any suggestion is very welcome.

This annoying notification on the bottom right keeps popping up everytime I take a screenshot. I've been using computers for the past 17 years, I know how to paste things by now. Even worse, it overlays on other applications and pesters me there for about 10 seconds until I close it. Can this notification be hidden in about config or do I have to find a community add on that does the same thing, but without this stupid notification?
