Hello. I found some of my bookmarks in Appdata/Roaming/Mozilla/Profile/5ccmq06e.default/bookmarkbackups etc just like firefox help tells me. But some of the bookmarks that I can access when I use firefox browser are not contained in "bookmarkbackups". Thus obviously begs the question(s) 1) where else are my bookmarks for firefox stored, & 2), if this is the only place they are stored, then why are some of my saved bookmarks visable/accessable when using the firefox browser not included in this bookmarkbackups folder? Thank you.

Firefox updated to Quantum and lost all my bookmarks and passwords. I was able to restore the bookmarks but I can not find a way to restore the passowords.

Bookmark folder in bookmark menu list will not delete. Using the delete methods provided in Support moz://a did not work. How can I make this happen?

Tried to add a folder to an existing bookmark folder on my bookmark menu list. I apparently didn't do that correctly so it created another folder on my bookmark menu list. I first tried to drag the newly created folder into the folder I want it to be in, but it would not move. So then I tried to delete the unwanted folder from the bookmark menu list, but it would not delete. I tried both methods provided online by Support, but neither one worked. I've moved and deleted bookmarks before, but it seems something has changed.

Sync by itself is usually enough to preserve all my bookmarks, but I made the mistake of installing FF ESR alongside regular FF which screwed everything up; it would have been nice to have had my complete bookmarks backed up at that point, so I could have restored all of them.
Btw, my laptop browser is spoofed: I'm using FF 60.0.1 on Linux Mint; I'm syncing my laptop with my android phone (FF 60.0.1 also).

2. At the top of the Book Mark bar there are items when there should only be one. I see "Imported From IE": this contains all of my bookmarks, "From Internet Explorer" Which is empty, and "From Google Chrome" which when opened list Help, Imported From IE, Internet Start, and Imported, When you click on any of these entries they seem to hang up; eventually the system recovers.
3. There really isn't a good help system with support for FireFox. The FireFox user forum hasn’t been any help with these issues and you can't get help from Mozilla. How is one supposed to get help?
Toolbar menu won't display after upgrading to 48.0.2.

Last week my bookmark file went crazy and became pages and pages of links to individual Hotmail messages and other sites I had opened but all my bookmarks are gone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled firefox several times, tried to load in the bookmark html file I had created, tried to just delete all the links that are in there, and nothing works. On reinstalled versions when I click the bookmark tab or link it crashes the whole browser and I have to resort to task manager to close it out. I've uninstalled several other programs (like Skype) that I thought might interfere but nothing is working. I run premium malware and virus protection software and have run scans with no problems found. Since I am having the same problem on both the desktop and the laptop computers I tend to think there is a problem with the browser rather than the individual computers but I don't know what else to check. Any ideas would be appreciated as I have used firefox for years and years so am more used to it but may have to give up on it.

Avvio e riaccendo il computer più volte e tutto va bene, poi, periodicamente mi ricarica tutti i vecchi preferiti. È un forte disturbo. Non so cosa fare.
I have Firefox synchronized with an iPhone. I edit, add or delete favorites only from the PC. After a while the deleted favorites return to the bar and add up to the existing ones. Starting and restarting the computer several times and everything is fine, then, periodically I reload all old favorites. It is a strong disorder. I do not know what to do. (Google trad.)
