Hello all,

We are a medium-sized company and are looking for a viable solution for sharing bookmarks between devices. Does anyone know what the maximum number of devices whose bookmarks can be synchronized with Fireofx is?

Some say five, but I cannot find an authoritative answer to this. Also, if that is true, is there some kind of bussiness solution for this kind of demand?

My laptop windows was creached, after that i logged in on other laoptop but, unfortunatly the bookmark is not sync and showing/downloading after logged in. please look into this.

My book mark it was very old and using since 8 years almost as i remember.

Recently I noticed that whenever I try to save a bookmark (and I save a lot of bookmarks) there are duplicates of my folders. I don't know why, but somehow at some point all my bookmarks got copied into other folders - Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, and maybe something else. What's frustrating is that one of the folders is the one I use for convenience to access sites I regularly use, while saving to the other puts it somewhere I can't easily get to (I think it's the copies from Bookmarks Menu), so I have to make sure I'm putting it in the right folder - which is hard to do when they have the exact same name. Something I've found that works is to just find out which folder is the one that is in my toolbar and save it to those which pushes the ones in the Bookmarks Menu out of the quick access list, but that's not always convenient given how many bookmarks are in some folders. Using the bookmarks dupes extension, you can see just how many duplicates there are. I've also attached what I see when I save a bookmark, so you can see the duplicate folders.

Why are my bookmarks all of a sudden not working anymore.

Selecting the saved bookmark from DudkDuckGo or Firefox does not load the page.

Did i change a setting accidentally/

Did Mozilla change the functionality?

What's going on?

Note: I can access the page by going directly to its URL ... but what's the point of bookmarks if that is necessary?

I have recently had a Computer Crash and have set up a new Computer. However, I cannot find a way to synchronize my old Bookmarks. Part of the Problem probably is that when the Syncing was originally set up, I was using a different User Name [e-Mail Address] to that I am using now. I have been using Firefox since 2006; and have an old Sync Key dating from some time in 2014; but cannot find a way to enter it into the current Firefox Settings. How do I recover my Bookmarks?

So on my Legion laptop, Windows 11 Home, the bookmarks keep rearranging themselves, iv also noticed A LOT of duplicates and folders which I did not add. I rebooted the laptop then tried scanning the it with WindowsDefender and Malwarebytes, and refreshing the application. On my desktop which is synced, there is no issue. I thought I was seeing things at first until I focused right on the bookmark tool bar and every 10-20 seconds one will just pop into a new position. Will a fresh install work? That's my next step, but wanted to see if there is a better solution.

Hi, I recently reset my Microsoft 11 operating system.The reset said before doing this would I would loose data, but I did anyway, hoping to improve operations. Now years worth of bookmarks are gone. Can I get them back? There is an icon on my desktop, "old firefox data" Thanks for your help

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

Every time I quit FF, FF crashes, or my Mac crashes, my bookmarks either disappear entirely, or the toolbar bookmarks and/or my "Other Bookmarks" folder disappear while leaving my main "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks. When I tried to restore from json backups, I discovered that my last one seems to be from last October. So I used Time Machine to restore my FF user profile from March 1. This works, but then I go through the cycle I just described above again ... and again. New backups of my Mac do not hold onto the bookmarks when I restore FF user profiles made after March 1.

When I try to manually back up my bookmarks or export my bookmarks to an HTML file from inside the "Manage Bookmarks" window, everything seems to work, but then when I go looking for the file I supposedly created (e.g. bookmarks-2024-03-04.json), no such file exists in the location where I saved it and searching for a file with "bookmarks" in its name yields only bookmarks from other browsers and the old bookmark backups from last October and earlier.

It is like almost (mohamed.ansar@mybonyan.com) but its saying this is a wrong user id for https://app.zipbooks.com/login It is already in my bookmarks a long ago. suddenly got sin gout. Now i could not login and saying this is wrong user id, Please help me find the user account name and password, i already login saved in mozila. it is really appreciate if you can help me.

bold text I have tried all options that are available. I cannot find my BOOKMARKS. This happened two days ago and I have tried, I have the bookmarks on a HTML file bit it says the file is empty.

I just had a Mozilla/Firefox update. After it was done, Firefox opened. So far so good..... When it opened, the very first thing I noticed is that my bookmarks button was not on my toolbar. The second thing I noticed is that all my bookmarks are gone. GONE!! I use and count on these bookmarks daily, and not they are nowhere to be found.

WHY? This is not the first time that Firefox has had an update and has changed my settings and lost things. Updating is one thing, but there is no reason why Firefox should be changing settings - and now, in this case, wiped my bookmarks clean.

Any help? I'm frustrated and angered that years of bookmarks are gone...... Can anyone help me? Thank you.

When I try to make a bookmark none of my folders are showing. I can use the folders when linking to a bookmark but not when trying to place a new bookmark. I have many folders but the attached image shows what I get when trying to choose the correct folder to place the bookmark. Only the three options show even though I know all my folders are in the pulldown bookmark tab. I did have a computer glitch where many of my computer files somehow ended up in the trash including Firefox. I moved the trashed files into a new folder on my desktop and was able to recover the bookmarks by choosing the Firefox backup. My question is how do I get the existing folders to once again show when making a bookmark so I can place/organize the bookmark in the correct bookmark file?

I am aware that Firefox has three options for bookmarks: Always Show, Only Show on New Tab, and Never Show.

Either through a setting, an extension, or magic... I want the new tabs to always show the bookmarks BUT I want the other tabs to allow me to toggle showing and hiding the bookmarks (without affecting the new tab at all). How can I achieve this? Is there a deep setting I am missing?

Are there workarounds too? I would settle for a homepage that showed bookmarks (right now I have the option to toggle 'shortcuts', I wish I could also toggle bookmarks there). I'd even settle for an AHK script to force show the bookmarks on new tab (if hidden).

How do I delete a single bookmark? The instructions in your help file do not work. I click on the blue star in the top right corner, hit "Delete bookmark," but the bookmark does not delete. I have tried shutting down Firefox and restarting after giving the delete command, but no dice. The bookmark seems immortal! Using Mac OS 10.13.6.
