I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. Please my firefox appears to have crashed, or is not working how can i fix it. As i try to open firefox document a dialogue box appears saying that either the firefox is not designed to run or that i should reinstall firefox

All of a sudden when I go into Firefox and type in the web browser it comes up on left hand side of the screen and is so small that it is impossible to read. It has never done this before

In the bookmark-bar in my Firefox-installation contains the soft-button for the function "Import bookmarks". I do not need this function always showed in the bookmark-bar. How can i remove it ?

On certain websites I notices I have 'unknown errors' when trying to log in.

Usually this is remedied by either using Chrome or clearing cookies and the cache.

Both of there are inconvenient and result in a great deal of wasted time.

The usual response by these websites is "get Mozilla to fix this".

I'm getting sick of this.

I don't want to switch to Chrome but I will have to if this persists.

As of this morning, the Firefox browser on my work computer does not get access to any website - including mozilla itself. On the same computer Safari works without problems, on my smartphone and in the same wifi network my mobile Firefox works.

What is wrong?

After i just updated Firefox to newest version .. I can not load any website anymore!!!!!! please make it so i can return to the previous version ASAP so everything works again.

Al those other solutions you guys give like clear cache disable en able etc don't work and take hrs of time

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

I try to install Firefox on a HP Z1 G8 desktop under Windows 11 Pro. The first time I get a warning that a .dll is not available or so (I dont know what this warning is precisely, becaus it pops up for 2 seconds only ) , and firefox is not well installed, reinstalling goes without warning, but still Firefox starts and then stay dead, no sites, no settings. I know the security in this computer is very thight, but other apps install without problem and functions.

Why Firefox cant be installed where other apps can ??????

When I run Firefox in troubleshooting mode I can log into citibank. When I return to normal I cannot. I've turned one extension after another off. None of them seem to be causing the problem.

This all started when I created a container for Banking. it has been a problem ever since.

I reset my PC and reinstalled Firefox last month, but my bookmarks were never recovered after I logged in my Firefox account. A couple of months ago I installed Firefox on another PC (to which I no longer have access) and it showed all the synced bookmarks, but this time it doesn't. What should I do? Thank you

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?
