I understand that VPN was progressive roll out, but I have been able to successfully use it for the last two months. Today I upgraded to version 151.0.4 and the VPN icon was no longer up in the toolbar. I thought maybe I did something wrong and went back to customize and put it back on, but it's just not there anymore.

Did you decide to roll it back without warning?

when trying to log into bank account it goes to a screen that says "performing security verification" when i tick box to verify you are human it goes into the spinning wheel and then continues in a loop with the verification process all over again .continuously .

ive been facing this issue since i dowloaded mozilla in my mac mini, and it just randomly decides to not play audio at all unless i shut all of the tab down and re start the entire browser which is very annoying because i am a video editor and i am working multiple tabs at a time and need audio always and since tabs can't restored in the order they were before closing this is sabotaging my work heavily, i love the browser overall but this specific ruins it because its a basic feature

It seems that after a recent Firefox version update (perhaps to 151.0.3), the "Clear cookies and site data" option is disabled for any container tab. This is really annoying as I like to use this feature often.

When clicking on the shield for some sites the clear cookies and site data is grayed out. Any one know why this is happening?

I can still do this for an individual site by going through the Setttings->Privacy and security->Manage browsing data

Good morning. I'm trying to configure my shortcuts on my home screen. Specifically, I want the shortcut button's icon to display the website's favicon, rather than just the default circle with a letter. I set the custom icon field for the button (as an example) to:

I have verified that this favicon exists and I can load it into a separate firefox tab. However, it won't display in the shortcut button. I've tried restarting and trashing some caches without success.

Where am I going wrong? I'm on FF 151.0.4 for Mac OSX 26.4. Thanks, Eric

Hello Im having trouble getting the free vpn showing I tried resting the toolbar and restarting firefox and reinstalling. I dont see it on the toolbar or custom toolbar to drag and drop. Thanks Mike

I recently downloaded Firefox and setup a home profile on my personal computer. I want to use the same profile on my work computer. I set up sync but that says it's done and nothing changes. How do i sync over the settings, passwords, bookmarks, theme, etc.?

I have this setting setup in Chrome but I'm tired of using chrome. Yet this feature is really important to me. I'd like to make change to bookmarks on my personal computer and it should update my profile on my work computer too

I don't know why Firefox made my homepage so messy, with so many junk suggestions. It used to be a lot of thoughtful / interesting stuff about science / nature / health / politics / philosophy think-pieces and now it is all just "(unkown celebrity name) clashes with (council) over (something I don't care about)" or "(american president) shocks defense community with late night Truth Social Screed (BROUGHT TO YOU BY TABLOID PAYWALL)." Everything is suddenly UK only, and it is all from the Metro, the Mirror, the Independent or Sky News. I never, ever read any of that. I am sometimes in the UK, but not now. And my VPN is never set there.

I don't want to block whole themes - Health? I might be interested in some of that, but I don't need ten stories from the UK health sector gumming up my feed every day. Food? I used to occasionally get good recipes on the home page, but now it's a whole section of choco-banoffie protein smoothies and fried chicken, which I would never, ever click on or prepare. Money? All of these things have potentially interesting options, so I don't want to block them, but I'm definitely not interested in getting loads more of any of it.

Is there any way to go back to region neutral 'this is interesting' stuff? I find the current home page to be really unpleasant.

I have been using our CT association's multiple listing service, Smart MLS, on Firefox for years. All of a sudden, while I can log in and can select a search, nothing happens when I press "view results". I even logged in independently from my bookmarked address - still the same problem. Can I call someone to talk this through?

This is the message that pops up when I am in my yahoo.com email account. Does his have anything to do with Firefox? How do I get rid of it, looks suspicious.

I am on a MacBook Air M3/8GB ram. I was really wanting to use Firefox due to your stance on privacy, etc. but here is my experience:

Yes, I keep a lot of tabs open - I do try to group them and hope that tabs in closed groups are deactivated, but I don't know this at all.

If I use Firefox all will seem well until my machine sleeps. On waking, it is excruciatingly slow - we are talking multiple seconds to even switch tabs or get the cursor to be "hot" when filling a form. Upon trying to quit (restarting being the usual first step), FF will ask confirmation and then close the windows, but will not completely quit, requiring me to force-quit. On restart it seems to behave again, at least for a while.

While I do see some evidence that others have this issue (memory leak?) there are no real methods or answers as to how, if at all, to fix this. It took a lot to get everything on FF working the way I like after leaving Chrome, but I really can't deal with this, and I think I will be looking at switching again - I guess to Safari.

I would love to know how to fix this, but really I don't imagine this is due to my system as much as the FF browser. That said, if you ahve any ideas, I would be open.
