I have Firefox as my default browser (running on Windows 10), but after I have it open for a while I start having performance problems with my laptop because of the amount of memory and CPU that Firefox is using. A few minutes ago, I was having significant response delay while using LinkedIn through Firefox.
As I write this, I still have two LinkedIn windows open plus this support window. Firefox is using 2,340 MB of memory. Firefox CPU usage bounces up to 30-35 % range for several minutes at a time.

Stranger still, is that it is still able to access my camera so I can see my feed, but If i click to watch my feed, that is also just a black screen. Not sure if it is a plug in, I don't get any pop-ups asking for permissions or access.

Hi, I am a photographer, and am currently working on my website. I don't know how this happened, but I noticed a mysterious Pin It icon on my site early January. I had a Pinterest account (unused), which I deleted, thinking I could get rid of this pesky thing. Now I have no Pinterest account, but 2 Pin It icons. Bizarrely, they only show up on Firefox, not Chrome. (I use Firefox 99% of the time.) Could you please advise me? Thank you very much, Anne Saint-Pierre

The tab at the top of the screen looks like it is open but the page is blank. If I use Firefox incognito or Edge browsers my hotmail opens as normal but not on a regular Firefox browser tab. I have cleared cache and cookies, no help there. Also, in the past two days all of my sign-ins needed to be entered (before clearing cache/cookies) and websites like weather had changed from F to C.
Tell me how to change the Icons that appear when I boot Firefox. I have no interest in the connections featured.
