For the past couple of months I have been getting the message www.bbc.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when loading pages on www.bbc.com website. I have done a search on the internet and it seems this is a common problem with Firefox and does not affect othere browesers. I have done what was advice given online but it does not solve the problem. It is getting so bad I may have to start using one of the other browsers even though I prefare Firefox.

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

CVE-2024-4367 has been announced several days now with MITRE and CIS. There is also an issue/advisory on the github repo for PDF.js which appears that the fix has been merged into the master commit of PDF.js (https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-wgrm-67xf-hhpq).

The vulnerability is pretty serious and yet there is no Security Advisory from Mozilla on affected versions, etc. (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/)

Is this normal and I am just being impatient?

I am attempting to report that Yahoo Finance is broken. From this URL, I use the "report broken site" feature:

When I fill out the information and hit "send", nothing happens. The "report broken site" screen remains active. Hitting Send multiple times has no effect.

I've tried using this feature for other pages, and it appears to work; but it won't work for this site.

Can anyone suggest why that might be? Is it a byproduct of the site's being broken?

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

after updating newest the version of Firefox the option to" restore previous windows opened " does not work. Is there a work around when I close my browser and then reopen the browser so that all the tabs that I had opened before closing my browser return as if I never left?I went into my setting and have the "open previous tabs" is checked. When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

My Wife's computer - still on Windows 10 - says it can't start Firefox as it is still running, hitting the "close Firefox now" button just returns us to the same screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox it tried to do a "reinstall" it says her profile is no longer available, while inconvenient she still should be able to start it up, but it still gives me the same message. that it is still running and needs closed. Trying to "close it doesn't do anything. I have restarted several times and even did a shut down and restart. Nothing seems to work. I assume some "stub" of Firefox is out there in the system/cache making Firefox think it is is still active but I can't find it to shut it down. Where do I need to go to "end task" on this phantom Firefox?

Other information: 1. We have Norton Security software installed, if that matters. 2. The same seems to happening to Thunderbird, but maybe I need to go to another help forum for that? 3. I am entering this issue from my computer that seems to be just fine with Firefox, so can't send browser data as it is irrelevant to the issue (it's on a different computer and install instance.

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

Please add support for progressive web apps to firefox, it is the only reason why I have stopped using firefox in preference of chrome. Without this feature, we can't use websites in split screen without the search bar area eating into the web page.
