HELP Please have tried numerous times by instructions given on support. Nothing is working. Can not correct with Dr. Thank you:)

Camera and microphone are blocked. Sessions by Psychology Today requires access to your camera and microphone. Click the camera blocked icon Camera and microphone are blocked. in your browser's address bar and refresh your browser.

This started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been because I synced the passwords with other devices. I reverted it back.

When in about:logins, I click on the log in button but nothing happens.

Firefox decided to remove the total amount of homepage shortcuts. For months, it allowed for 4 rows and 8 columns, with blank "Add Shortcut" shortcuts. This allowed me to organize or split my shortcuts better. This morning, it decided to move all shortcuts together. As per the "Before" and "After" screenshots attached.

Usual disclaimers: Firefox 125.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 No Config edits No extensions currently installed manipulate, affect or otherwise influence shortcuts

i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

i’m trying to open blackboard.com but it keeps telling me ( Did not Connect: Potential Security Issue ) some youtube guides say that you can modify the enterprise security roots from *false* to *true* and it will work, but is it safe to do that? and is there any solution the problem?.

TL;DR : Disqus comments used to work while using privacy Strict mode now it doesn't.

After years of it working out of the get-go while using Strict mode up till recently (about a year ago this was really low on my priority list) refused to work I though it was my Ad blocker was causing issues but after setting it in the filters to allow and even after turning it off still no dice.

Removed all add-ons tried again still Disqus comment section refused to load in the websites I regularly visit. So after giving up, I just look around in the browser setting to see if there is anything that may cause conflict with certain scripts from running.

There a number of web sites (eg Trustpilot, Moneysupermarket) where an irritating 'Use your Google account to sign in' popup appears on the login page. Is there any way I can stop this appearing?

How do I perform very basic editor functions like add/remove/move a page in the new Firefox PDF document editor? I am in the Mainstream Firefox 124.0.1 64-bit. Thank You, David

updated to Version 124.0.1 (64-bit), now adblocker ultimate blocking website ( are you human? not a robot requests). There's no button to confirm.

I can get to log in screen ( Sams' club) but it goes right back to the are you human screen?, 

I can access the website if turn off Adblocker Ultimate. Adblocker appears up to date. When I disable Adblocker there is still a request, but this time a button below to press and hold which takes me to login screen. I can successfully login then. Reporting the issue which began within 5 min of the last Firefox update. I updated 3/23/2024

Hi, my proxy configuration settings got selected to No proxy and I'm unable to update it to auto proxy/manual proxy configuration settings as you can see in the below image, the pop got disabled and unable to select other options.

Steps to replicate 1.open fire fox browser 2.click on settings 3.select general >> Network settings 4.Click on settings

Actual result: unable to edit the proxy configuration settings got selected to no proxy and editing is disabled

Expected result: should allow user to select the below configuration options i. Auto detect proxy settings for this network ii.use system proxy settings iii.Manual proxy configuration

a few days ago, Firefox stopped playing sounds. Any sounds. not youtube, not on Facebook. Not even porn videos. nothing. i don't remember installing any new software and Chrome plays youtrube sounds just fine. I listen on headphones and when i unjack, i still can only hear Chrome's browser play sounds. It seems like its not my comp, its the browser itself and it's only happened recently. i have yet to uninstall the browser and re-install, but i think if i use the Mozilla backup program to save my bookmarks, it will save whatever setting is causing the problem as well and re-installing will get me nowhere. anyone have any clue? i'm sure it's something simple but i cant figure it out

I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

Today I installed a new extension (Bitwarden) and want to add the icon to the toolbar. I can't find it anywhere. The add-on shows up in the add-on manager but there's nothing there to help me add the icon. The little puzzle piece in the upper right of the browser -- click on that and Bitwarden isn't listed.

How do I fix this? In Chrome there's a simple toggle switch in the extension manager to add the icon to the toolbar. Frankly, if I can't get this Bitwarden icon to display I can't use Firefox at all. Thanks.

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.
