How can I put bookmarks in the toolbar at the top where it used to be? When I bookmark to the toolbar I can omly find them by clicking Bookmarks and clicking on toolbar in the drop down.

"Show all bookmarks" seems to have vanished. How can I get it back, so I can back up my bookmarks? Or is there another way to do that? (Should have been clear about this: no problem finding the library symbol, opening the bookmarks toolbar or opening the bookmarks sidebar. However, the "show all bookmarks" entry is missing from the sidebar. The main headers on the sidebar are "bookmarks toolbar", "bookmarks menu", and "other bookmarks". "Show all bookmarks" is not a header and I cannot find it in any of the others. If I search for it in "search bookmarks", nothing emerges.)

I'm trying to import bookmarks.

First problem: "Show all bookmarks" doesn't appear.

Second problem: I tried importing via F10, File, Import from another browser. Apparently this was successful, but the bookmarks are nowhere to be seen.

This weird! when I export my current bookmarks to html to a thumb drive, Firefox exports and old list, not the current list! I can add a bookmark, export the list, the new bookmark shows, but the list is not the current bookmarks. this new list contains bookmarks that I had deleted, and are not in my current bookmarks!

Just wondering if, and where, is the option to completely remove, disable or clear out the list of "Recently Bookmarked", from the bookmarks menu?

From clicking the icon in the top right, that looks like a stack of books, and then clicking bookmarks, that drop down menu, "Recently Bookmarked".

I do not want that list and find it kinda redundant and annoying to have a list of bookmarks, that I've already bookmarked mind you, sitting there that cannot be removed or cleared. I've searched high and low and can not find an option to remove that list or option. Like a history of bookmarks, that I've already chosen to bookmark.

Bookmarkception I guess was the goal there...

By using refresh Firefox to "fix" problems with slowness, I have lost all of my bookmarks and God knows what else. And I can't access the files that were created, all I get is gibberish. Why didn't Firefox inform me that using refresh would fubar ("fouled" up beyond all recognition) my computer? I desperately need to undo the damage caused by using this (dis)service. And how do I contact Firefox to tell them how badly they have screwed me over?

I try to save bookmarks but cannot find them. Please tell me what are the options & where are they saved? Thanks. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10. Bernie

I have always had my bookmarks on display in a left hand panel, and this has now disappeared. I still have the other normal bookmark displays but prefer the side panel. I'd be grateful for guidance.

How can I permanently force firefox's automatic updates to be turned off? Which guy modified the original design for the new version of Firefox bookmarks? Is there something wrong with that man's brain? Is the spacing of the new bookmark item too large to read? It's very uncomfortable.

Please note that this is the sidebar I am talking about, not the toolbar which uses browsers.toolbar.bookmarks.2h2020. I am asking for the flag if it even exists to have the ability to have the bookmarks sidebar show only when on the homepage and new tab page, akin to how the bookmarks toolbar only shows up when on those specific pages.

I have Firefox installed for Windows 10 on a PC and I use google Mail (gmail) My bookmarks menu has disappeared in Google gmail This website explains how to retrieve it, and starts with "Click menu button" (3 horizontal lines) But this menu button at the top left does not take me to the next stage which is to click "more tools" How do I find the Firefox menu button?

I would like to import the stored bookmarks from my old Opera browser to my Firefox browser. When I go to 'Show all Bookmarks' under the Bookmarks tab, then select for 'Import and Backup', and finally select the 'Import Data from another Browser' my other older browsers are listed but Opera is not. How do I locate Opera then import those bookmarks? Thank you.

I'd like to decrease the font size and change the font type in the pull down bookmarks menus. Is there a way to do that? There is no effect after tried Fonts and Colors under Preferences - Language & Appearance. Thanks.

Hi, I've just reinstalled Windows on my computer and I've logged in to Firefox to sync my bookmarks. My bookmarks from my previous Firefox install are still in the folder marked "Bookmarks Toolbar", but when I try to show the toolbar itself they are nowhere to be found. When I try to customize my browser layout I can't find the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" and instead the "Import bookmarks" option is available. I can't seem to get my bookmarks into the toolbar itself.
