the browser seems to not render emojis at all anymore instead showing them as blanks browser wide, while other browsers such as chrome and arc and the OS itself are handling it quite well and okay

A few days ago my saved passwords all disappeared. I have been logging in manually and when I do Firefox asks if I want to save the password and I click yes. The password then shows up in the saved Passwords. But... in a day or so it disappears again. What's going on? I have not changed any settings.

How do I remove the pop up blocker on Firefox for certain websites? I am doing an online course and each introduction for each chapter has a short video that pops up but as soon as that happens Firefox sends a "Critical error" message then the video stops so I thinks that's happening because pop up blocker is turned on and I just dont know how to turn pop up blocker off for specific websites only like this one I am using for my study course. How can I turn the pop up blocker just for this one website so that this doesn't keep happening?

Since latest upgrade (1/16/2026) I cannot log in to Outlook email. This is specific to Firefox 147.0.1 (Chrome and Pop Peeper logins to Outlook work fine). I tried clearing cache, updating, restarting, rebooting, trouble-shooting mode, private window etc. to no avail. I get 400 error from Outlook.

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

Since update yesterday, new tab is empty. Whatever I do, open new tab, open new window, go to `about:newtab` manually, it does not load anything. The view is totally blank. I can navigate to other pages fine as it should though. Only New Tab view is broken. Diagnostic mode does not work. I don't have plugins that would affect New Tab anyways.
