I tried to open my Firefox browser, but was unable to. Same thing with my Google chrome browser. I ran the troubleshooter for network problems, but unable to get a solution.

I downloaded a new Firefox browser in the hopes that it would let me access the other browser so I could retrieve all the settings, bookmarks, etc. However, everything disappeared when the new browser was installing.

Is there any way for me to retrieve that information or is it a total loss?

Are the captions being generated in firefox. I've never had this happen before.The captions are unrelated with I'm doing and are very distracting . Please tell mr how to discontinue them. Thank You

I have came to ask if anyone else has had problems with downloading a mod off of nexusmods.com and if there is a solution I have been having to switch to google chrome which I'd rather not because its so resource intensive on the computer

I am having difficulties opening certain web site or click on emails to open a web page. I have been copying the addresses and pasting in Chrome to successfully open these websites. I have been a Firefox user for many years and never had this problem. I an using Windows 11 64 bit.

I save an article on pocker, I click next to the pocket box it goes away, but when I go to print the article it shows the pocket box, that is a change in the software, how do I fix this?

It authenticates then says there is an error. Private doesn't work. Clear history doesn't work. Should I go back to a previous verson of Firefox? 133.0.3 (64-bit)but it's the only one that works. Some time this year I noticed that when I get home from work and wake up my monitor (PC is always on and doesn't sleep or log out) I get an email notification in the bottom right corner for every email I received that day and it takes a couple of minutes to clear.

I don't remember this before, it was only live notifications in the bottom right as they came in, if you clicked the Windows notification icon it would show you all of the past notifications on the list of course.

I still want the notifications for live incoming mail but not all of the unread emails previously.

I don't know if this is a Firefox setting or a Windows one but I couldn't figure out how to change without disabling notifications all together.

Every time I type in "Blue.." to get to Bluesky social, I get an entry at the top "blue marble creative."

I'm unable to delete this autosuggest. It does not have 3 dots next to it like all the other entries do. Does this mean it's an add? If so, how can I prevent it from coming up?

I have been trying to log in to a newspaper website for which I have a subscription. This used to work in Firefox without a problem, but for a while now I have been encountering the problem that when I open the website the usual options "Subscribe" and "Log In" are missing. The "Log In" option is available when I open the website in Microsoft Edge. I have attached screenshots showing the missing links.

I have tried troubleshooting and opening in Safe Mode to disable any add-ons but still without success. I am hoping that there may be a simple solution and would appreciate any help.

I am using Windows 11 and Firefox 133.0.3 (64-bit).

With Google selected as the default search engine if I enter any search term into the address bar I get:

I'm then presented with a captcha. A serious PITA! Note that any proper address is evaluated properly.

Strangely enough if within a few seconds I enter the same term into the Chrome browser I get the expected number of results.

I can of course get around this by changing the default search engine but I'm wondering why Chrome works but Firefox doesn't. Win11 Home 23H2, all the latest Update fixes, latest Firefox and Chrome

just checked - seems to only happen with Windows, my Android phone doesn't have the problem...go figure
