I had to reset my primary password. Now the new password is not being accepted. And I keep getting a pop-up asking for the password. What can I do to have my password accepted?

I already tried to un-check "use primary password" in settings but cannot accomplish that with a password that is rejected.

I have logged out of one Gmail account and want Firefox to use another, but Firefox ignores the one I want to use. How do I get Firefox to recognize a certain Gmail account so I can receive mail?

Canvas is working on all other browsers normally, but when I try to login on firefox an error 403 message shows up at the two factor authentification step. I allowed popups already in this browser so that is not the issue.

When I move the cursor over the bookmarks bar the Tabs bar opens and closes causing the bookmarks to move up & down and prevent the cursor from using the bookmarks bar, How can I fix that?

A few weeks ago I began, while trying to connect to Kaiser from an email message, to get a response that said it was unable to connect because "server not able to redirect." I wasn't getting any error messages from any other sites or attempts to connect with any other sites.

I contacted Kaiser and got some tech office in California (I'm in Hawaii). I did all that they suggested, i.e. "cleaning up" my computer, and I even paid and installed a program called "CClean", and used "Ninite." After making all the "clean ups" the error message was still happening, and later it even mentioned Firefox in the message.

At that point I had no idea what to do and went to "help" on the application menu. Did the "troubleshooting" a couple times, and then saw a "refresh" button, that I thought was probably, and looked innocuous; this led to a bunch of other things that I certainly didn't want to mistakenly perform anything untoward.

After all this I was finally able to link properly with Kaiser, BUT ALL OF MY TABS WERE GONE!

This seems to be a real problem on Firefox, since I've NEVER seen anything that is easy to select to "resolve", "reinstate", or "RECOVER" tabs. I've seen many of the same questions about TAB recovery before.

I've been with Firefox for probably a couple of decades now, and this seems to be a major issue without any "easy" solution. Or, am I just missing something completely?!

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I have attached a picture of the same herewith.

I have Windows 11 and Firefox 124.0.2. Firefox keeps asking to reinstall. I think it is because I keep getting the message that it fails to check for updates. I don't know if I have installed the Microsoft Firefox or the direct Mozilla Firefox downloaded. Maybe that is the problem, but I am not tech savvy. I have used Firefox for many years and like it. I am also too old (83) to deal with these problems. Help!

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

My Browser keeps on telling me there is an update... I've updated, reinstalled the latest version and it still keeps giving a pop-up saying there is an update...

How do I get rid of these pop-ups???

Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

I have Firefox 124.0.2 running on Windows 11. For some reason, I can't update Firefox. When I manually download the update file, it appears to run Ok, but the version doesn't change. If I go to settings and click on "Check for Updates" is comes back and says Failed to Check for Updates. How do I fix this?

I receive an error message "Failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

something apparently got corrupted in firefox.. i tried running update and i keep getting failed to update.. i have refreshed.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled ...nothing. i am sure there is a folder or file somewhere that is corrupted and i cannnot find it. because even when i uninstall and reinstall fresh. all my bookmarks are there .. how to i start a TRUE NEW install??

For the last few months YouTube appears to have broken CSS and text in multi-line blocks is broken and overlaps. I'd guess this is only for text that auto line wraps. The example screenshot is of a pseudo dialog but the problem is everywhere on multi-line text in YouTube.

After just turning on my computer running Windows 10, I opened Firefox. I open 1 web site and noticed my computer showed a (16) prefix when loading Firefox. I opened the Task Manager and it showed that there were 15 instances of "firefox" running in the background. All showed a UAC Virtulization of "Disabled". But they also showed using 638.8MB of memory. I do not know whether these are necessary files that must run in the background or if the number of files indicates that my system has been hacked and someone else is in my system from outside. Any suggestions as to validity of these files running or how I might confirm that they should be running. I have noticed the number of excessive background files before but the number is never consistent which makes me fear I may have been hacked.
