I am encountering an issue where, while searching for images on google, the images appear extremely low resolution. When I attempt to open the image in another tab, it remains extremely low resolution and low quality. The issue is not with the images themselves, as I am able to view them on my phone with higher resolution, it is just my desktop that experiences this issue. Please fix it.

I need to uninstal firefox because it is not opening, keep getting message to first close firefox !!! I can not close firefox because I can't get it to open in the first place.

The power went out while I was working and when I turned the computer back on, my Firefox account was logged out and I don't know how to get it back , Every time I try to restore the account it gives me the default account. And thanks a lot

I've asked this before. I'd still like to know why I don't remain logged in, but today, this also happened.

How can you have an expired session, when there was no session?

Normally, when zoom in on a web page in Firefox, the page will adjust so the page content is still visible, by insisting the magnified content is still visible, or a vertical scroll bar is created to reveal the content.

I also run into pages where the content is only visible when the page is 100% or less.

Can this be adjusted?

The site froze while playing a video. It happened multiple times. Is anyone else reporting this kind of behavior on Instagram. I closed the tab, but cpu stress-like side effects remained for a while.

I have been looking for any "cast to device" button or setting on and off for a few weeks now and can't seem to find it. Not sure if it's just right out disabled in the browser (because other sites allow me to cast), but YouTube specifically just doesn't have the option anymore. Just wondering if it's something on my end or if it's fixable at all.

when I click a url link from mail it opens a new firefox window instead of a new tab on existing window. I like to keep all tabs in one open firefox window. Firefox crashed last night and lost all of my tabs; I was able to restore but now having issues with email url links opening in a stand-alone new window - HOW do I revert to former option?

I am using Firefox on a W11 64 desktop. Until recently (the most recent upgrade, I think) all worked well. But since then although the relevant box is ticked in settings (aboutpreferences general), on opening Firefox the tabs from the preceding session are NOT restored. This is extremely inconvenient.

Have any others found this same problem? Any work arounds?

Recently I’ve been unable to play YouTube videos on Firefox: “Video unavailable.”

I’ve tried clearing the cache and cookies, and restarting Firefox in safe mode. I’ve disabled “Use recommended performance settings” and “Use hardware acceleration.” Still no videos.

I’m using a VPN and have several Ff extensions - none of them video related.

The problem seemed to start after the most recent Firefox update. YouTube works fine in Safari.

Thoughts?

Until the most recent update, when I opened a new tab a box with the message "Search the web" appeared, and I could enter a query to search. This was exactly what I wanted. Now, the box still appears, but as soon as I type a character the input jumps to the small box at the top left where I would expect to enter a URL. I don't like this, because (a) the jump is disconcerting when I'm trying to type, (b) I want what I type in the URL box to be always taken as a URL, not as a search query, (c) the box in the middle of the new tab is just a waste of space: something held out then snatched away. The solution I have found suggested is to set the resource browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false, but this causes an error message to appear in the search box. I'm sure there must be a way to have the old behaviour back - any help gratefully received.
