I've been having problems with some websites not displaying content, others displaying error messages. So have been going through the Troubleshooting Mode and diagnostic process.
The cause is the MS CoPilot extension for Firefox.
Useful in other ways as I discovered several other extensions I don't need, hence have remained disabled.

I have a problem where if I install the packages needed to get hardware video decoding working in firefox it completely breaks YouTube playback. I can't find any info on the internet about the problem and I am having a lot of trouble with it. YouTube playback with libva-mesa-driver and libva-vdpau-driver will start stop restart start playing audio then crash with a this error every single time. I can access other Meta-owned sites (Messenger.com, Instagram, Threads) on Firefox and Waterfox.
This issue exists on both my desktop (Windows 10) and laptop (Windows 11).
This issue does not apply to Firefox for iOS or the Facebook app.
All apps and OS's mentioned are up to date.

I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?

Hey,
I use a personal firewall. Every unknown program that attempts to access the network triggers a popup message requesting permission.
Right after the installation, Firefox.exe initiated a message, stating the following path: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe". I granted access.
However, weeks after the installation, the updater.exe asked for permission, stating a very unusual path of itself. The path is "\device\harddiskvolume3\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Maintenance Service\update\updater.exe".
This seems unusual to me, since apps normally use 'C:\' to refer to harddiskdrive0. It is also suspect, since there are only two drives connected and the Disk Management tool (as an admin) indicates, that there are harddiskdrive0 and harddiskdrive1. There are no hard disk drives 2 or 3.
I also wondering about the fact, that the about firefox screen states, that firefox is up to date - even I did not granted access for the updater.exe in the past. There has never been a firwall rule to grant access for the updater.exe - how did it update in the past?
Does anybody have an idea what is happening?
