What steps can I take to troubleshoot and resolve issues with loading an entertainment site on Mozilla Firefox, such as videos not playing, pages not loading correctly, or other site functionality not working as expected?"

Hi. I can't watch a video on any website after updating my android app to v.(126.0 I think) because it plays Stuttery and laggy. I don't have much tab open, mainly 2 or 3 and incognito mode doesn't makes any difference. Still videos play laggy as if it's on low fps. The recent update to v126.0.1 didn't fix it either. My phone is galaxy s21 ultra if it matters.

I can't remember when this problem started, but the volume dips down for maybe 1-2 seconds shortly after the start of anything with sound, like YouTube videos and MP3s embedded in a website. On the same phone with Chrome, the problem does not happen.

for a recent update or two, when I am watching videos in fullscreen, at least like me, for example, when I entered fullscreen, the video should play horizontally, but after merely half a minute, the screen orientation goes back to vertical mode automatically, which is not happening when I began to use Firefox android months ago. Watching same website on different browsers, only Firefox goes wrong, so I think this should be Firefox's bug.

I'm uploading this on chrome.

The add function does not let me add photos or videos to any website requiring photos or videos for evidence. The "Add Photos (optional)" only says allow but does not upload photo. All permissions are allowed on Oneplus 12.

This is rediculous. A past post said "oh you can just chose desktop mode" but this does not work. youtube.com will consistently redirect to m.youtube.com even when I delete the m. AND have desktop mode on

streaming websites taking too much time to open. Example - YouTube, ZEE5, YT music, JioCinema etc. I can login to Netflix and explore everything but I can't play video because of firefox's video player problem. Social media X's video is not auto playing. Usually I do use Max 10 tabs. My phone is at Android 14. I have a better internet so there's no net speed Problem.

I found that X (Twitter) videos don't autoplay although the corresponding setting is enabled in Firefox for Android.

Listening to audiobooks made me notice this problem, often whilst my phone is turned off and the audiobook is playing in the background on a tab on firefox the audio would just stop and i would find either that firefox was still open but unloaded all the tabs, or that it simply crashed. I thought this was a thing that solely happened when playing audio in the background but then i noticed that it is actually a general problem when firefox is kept open in the background. It doesnt happen after a set amount of time, sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes after like 10 minutes that it is kept in the background. How can i fix this? its very annoying.

Videos are lagging frequently, seems like the fps drops a lot. It usually happens as soon as I pause or skip forward/backward. It doesn't depend on the source of the video, as it is the same for all the websites. My network connection is stable. Pausing or reloading doesn't help, the problem is persistent at all times. I have to skip backwards then forwards to the same spot. I use Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. Firefox version 126.0 (Build #2016019903)

Since the latest update there are some - not all - websites that I receive the following error message when trying to play a video: The media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed.

On YouTube the video will start playing but the rectangle it should be in will still be black, refreshing usually works. Sometimes a video will simply stop playing. Sometimes i have to close all apps and restart the browser twice to get it to work. Sometimes trying to go to full screen will crash the app. Sometimes popping the app out of full screen into a floating window crashes it. This one is new, it's the uploaded screenshot, it crashed mid video and made the video look funny.

Can high resources eatin' (maybe graphics, IDK) Ads, for Me in the Webside embedded and (sometimes) with 'movie' like movement decorated, automatically get blocked?

My phone runs slow, 'even' with just 1 Tab open and only Firefox Mobile App on the phone active.

When displaying an iframe video in a popup, clicking the close button and other click events do not work. This issue only occurs in the Firefox browser on Android, while it functions correctly in the Firefox browser on iOS.

Is this a default behavior.

I said it all in the in the opening statement... What else am I meant to say?????????? It worked fine 2 weeks ago..? But now forget it!!!!!!! What has changed....you must know ... So don't ask me just fix it!!!!!!

When playing a video on YouTube the video is choppy and drops around 2/3 of the frames. This happens on every video that I click on.

I have found that if I double tap to jump back 10 seconds in the video it will no longer drop frames and play smoothly, but if I change the playback resolution it returns to being choppy until jumping in the video again.

I am currently running the latest stable download from the play store, and my phone is a OnePlus 8t.

Dear Firefox team,

Since the two or three latest Updates of your browsers, a strange bug occours everytime watching a video. When I pause it and let it play again, the video goes under quite some lagging/stuttering. The audio is fine, but the video is not on screen is not. I have to go back on the video bar, so it runs smoothly again.

And before it comes, I already tried the usal methods, such as clearing the cache, clearing browser history, cookies, used privat tab, deibstalled adblocker etc. Nothing worked, and it happens even with different versions, such Firefox normal, nigtly, waterfox etc. And with every video player, not just a specific one. And I teued it on two different smartphones. Is there any solution or planning to fix this?

YouTube videos cannot be played in 4K resolution on Firefox; the maximum supported resolution is 1080p. However, when using Chrome browser, 4K playback is supported.
