On the startpage of my website a little animation (html + javascript, done in Adobe EdgeAnimate) did run for the last 1,5 years. Now it only keeps running if I use Google Chrome or Safari – on Firefox the page loads but not the animation. What has changed with the last update that blocks animation? Hmm, this is strange. When I first loaded the page, enabled scripts, and reloaded, various products dropped into an image. When I reloaded the page again, the center part of the page stayed blank and I got this message in the Web Console:

TypeError: C.getComputedStyle(...) is null edge.6.0.0.min.js @ Line 77 Character 205

Since the script is minified, it is difficult to follow.

I notice this file is version 6.0.0.400 and appears to date back to 2014. Are any updates available? If not, you might search around wherever Adobe Edge Animate users hang out online to see whether any of them knows what's going on.

I don't see any reference to changes to getComputedStyle on any of these pages:

So... I got nothing for you.

It is not working for me in older Firefox versions like Firefox 45.2.0 esr as well.

Could this be caused by the order in which Firefox is initializing scripts and some elements do not exist yet?

I just notice that the animation works if I open the link in a new tab (This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab) or use This Frame: Reload Frame.
