When is Firefox OS v1.2 and v1.3 released to ZTE open?

Currently the ZTE open is delivered with Firefox OS v1.0. Firefox OS v1.1 is released and avaiable for the ZTE open. It can be installed. Firefox OS v1.2 is only available as Beta-Release for the ZTE open. When is Firefox OS v1.2 finally released for the ZTE open?

Some monile phone producers do not facilitate each new release to their customers. Firefox OS v1.3 is ready and released by Mozilla. When will Firefox OS v1.3 be available for the ZTe open?

Chosen solution

ZTE purposely run three months or one cycle behind the current release. When 1.3 is signed over to the manufacturers, 1.2 stable will be available. This will be late April, the 28th.

Hi fleamour, you announced the final release of Firefox OS 1.2 for ZTE Open for the 28th April 2014. Today 1st May 2014 I have not found an announcement or the code to download. Could you please let me know if the timeline is delayed or where I can download the software + instructions.

Hi schaefi,

I understand that you would like to know when the update for the commercial version of ZTE Open will be released to the public.

The OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) are the ones responsible for testing and releasing updates to the users, for each specific device. Unfortunately, we at Mozilla do not have any information of when they will release those updates.
