How can I disable keyboard Firefox shortcut Ctrl + W or prevent it from closing the tab?

I do not want this shortcut. I use Ctrl + S often on a webpage I visit daily. Sometimes I accidentally strike the W instead of the S and when the tab closes I get logged out of that webpage. Very frustrating. I currently have Firefox version 48. Thank you.
