Whenever items are deleted from Junk folder (Unified View) I am getting at least 10 lines with 01-01-1970 dates. It takes several minutes for these to clear up and at times persist between sessions too.

I do have the latest version of Thunderbird installed.

Hi, I am a happy user of Thunderbird (in Italian) since 2000... after the new update all account settings were wrong and I had to repair all folders as they were not anymore visible in the Account settings. Now everything is fixed but when I click the main button "download new messages" (see image 1) it only downloads 1 account of my 5, and it is not the main one (gmail.com). When I click the downward arrow and then click "download ALL new messages" it works; but when I try to download only the gmail account, it downloads instead from another account (unibg). I usually mix in the same folder (gmail) both gmail (personal) and unibg.it (also hosted on Gmail), that is my institutional address. Always worked properly but now it seems I have to click twice and I forget, so I am not getting the emails. Also: 1) "automatically download" and/or "download every 5 minutes" do NOT work and I always have to download manually; 2) "keep on server" only until they are deleted does NOT work, all messages actually remain on server. I use POP and do not want to use imap. Always worked, but this new update seems to have messed all up. Waiting for your answer / fixing bugs. Thanks Clizia Carminati

GoDaddy Officer365 mail service. Logon to SMTP to send a ddrafted email started to fail around December 30, 2020. Messages drafted in Thunderbird are still saved in the Outlook drafts folder, but cannot be sent from Thunderbird. I can send the messages if I open the drafts folder as webmail in Firefox, or Chrome on my Android

This issue is akin to the Get mail problem that arose before CHristmas that was solved by setting the dns.disableIPv6 to true.

Is there a solution to the send issue?

I composed a message in Thunderbird and tried to send it as addressed. I got a message "Login to server smtp.mailfence.com with user name JoDandurand@mailfence.com failed." This happened repeatedly, even though I checked the password for that server in my account. The message would also not accept my re-entering the server password when asked. The message appeared repeatedly and would not accept the password or send the message. How do I resolve this? Thanks, Jo Dandurand

I posted yesterday but can't find a ticket number; I received an email this morning on my iPhone asking for clarification.

I have two problems: the first I discovered during Xmas week when I used my MacBook Air exclusively when I was out of town. When I got home and tried to get my email from that week on my iMac, it was nowhere to be seen. This had never happened before. I don't know if it is still a problem because of the second problem that began yesterday (2 Jan 23) which is:

I changed my iCloud password and Thunderbird no longer recognizes my account so I cannot receive or send email through T'bird on my desktop. I continue to be able to use an older version of T'bird on my notebook.

Plus, I use Mail on my iPhone, which still works. So sorry about the confusion.

Hi. I use the Thunderbird program many years. Since November 2022 I have problems with the deliverance of my messages to some people. Usually, it concerns the users of the same domain mail.ru: I send them a letter 2-3 times via Thunderbird because they do not get it. The browser works correctly, so the problem is only with my messages via the post program. It is not comfortable, I lose a lot of efforts in order to check whether my respondent has got my message or not etc. How to improve the service?

For some time now Thunderbird keeps marking my emails as unread even after I've read them. I use the setting "Automatically mark as read" but - although it does do that at first - next time i go to the email (either in my Inbox or when it's in Archive) the "Unread (1)" marking is there again. How can I stop this happening? (I've tried changing the setting to "after 1 second, 2 seconds etc but it still happens).

Yesterday I tried moving a number of messages from one Thunderbird folder to another. However, something must have gone wrong because while they disappeared from the original folder, they did not appear in the target one. Undoing the move did not work.

I subsequently restored the original folder from a backup and the messages did appear there. However, this morning they had once again disappeared. I tried both repairing the folder and restoring from backup again, but no dice.

Looking at the folder in Finder, the messages indeed are there. However, when looking there, I also noticed that TB folders I had for a long time are folders in Finder as well (folders appearing with the ending .mozmsgs with the messages as .mozeml files in them), while more recently created TB folders only appear as files (without file endings plus the .msf files) but aren't actual folders in Finder.

Using Thunderbird 102.6.1 on a Mac running Monterey 12.6 if that helps. And the folder in question is an IMAP folder.

Any help greatly appreciated!

TB 102 Address book does not show icloud groups

I have TB 102.6.1 ( i believe that is the latest), running on two widows 11 computers. Previously I used TbSync to manage icloud contacts, which worked fine until a recent update which has moved to a native synchronisation within TB. I negotiated the changeover with a little stress, thinking my sync had gone completely, but now find that the groups I have set up in icloud contacts are no longer available in TB. Reading around i dont think its me, but why has this happened, when will it be corrected, and can I do anything now to reinstate the icloud groups?

Ubuntu 18.04 Thunderbird 102.4.2 Just happened today, everything was working yesterday after update and upgrade (which I believe did not include Thunderbird). Left and right windows are blank. Can send emails, receive email arrival notifications, and view address books and filters, but cannot view folders, folder contents, and messages. Have rebooted, reloaded Thunderbird, tried moving a profile from another computer with no success. Have also noted that calendar tab does not appear. Tried troubleshooting with extensions disabled. What might I have missed? Thanks, in advance, for any help.

When I receive Emails (or send them) i can not see the profiles contact picture (not directly, not with mouse over). This seems to work for others (as posted here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1382453#answer-1557451) but i can't get it to work.

The Contacts do have profile pictures of course and I can see the picture in the adress book. I use the official adressbook by the way - deinstalled cardbook for some time now.

I would really appreciate a solution.
