Hi, all of my passwords and usernames have been deleted. When I go to the passwords section of my account all that is listed is the web addresses. The usernames and passwords are blank! HELP!

If i open a link to redirect to an app, let’s say wikipedia, it will redirect fine. When i switch back to Firefox, the mobile version of the link i clicked on will be loaded instead of just displaying search engine search results where i clicked the wikipedia link. (Admin note: edited to fix formatting issue)

Another thing that happens is if i click on the link, still being wikipedia, get redirected to the app, then close out firefox, the next time i open firefox, it will redirect me back to the wikipedia app.

This issue I have been having is not just related to Wikipedia, this is for any other link that may open a related app I have installed on my phone.

Firefox keeps opening up external apps when I do not want them to be opened. It opens the link in the browser AND in the app, which makes it insultingly frustrating when I eventually go to close the tabs in the browser because every time I try to close the tabs, the external app reopens!

I’m trying to use Firefox on my iPhone and I’d like the default search engine to be Firefox. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be already or an option. Can this be done?

Also, my default search engine keeps switching and I don’t want it too. Like I said above I’d like it to be Firefox but I can’t seem to get it to be ? And it switches to google so I removed it.

I have it set to Brave right now but when I search for things in regards to a keyboard logger and as I’m quite sure I have one on my phone. It will start and just not go through as if something is limiting its functionality.

Also when I try and do security check I get an error unable to gather home information. It usually says not able to stop sharing access to camera, microphone, location even though I have them turned off.

This also happens when I try and install a verification app to my accounts when I click to add it any other one that I don’t have will pop up. Then when I click to add on the App Store it reply’s I’m not connected to the internet when I am. How can I fix these issues and secure my device?

Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.

After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.

I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

Why does the app force me into a new tab every time I leave the app and come back!?! Even for a moment. It’s messed up two things I’ve been working on now. How do I set it to behave like a normal browser and open to the page I was on when I left..?

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

I can’t find a password I just saved onto Firefox in Passwords . When I search for the site in Passwords it says there is no matching login and provides no password.

Hi there, recently I wanted to open Firefox on an iPad that I did not use for a while but I was not able to access the tabs anymore. They seem to be inactive somehow. Turning the inactive tabs-setting off did not help in getting them active again. At the same time it seems to be a graphical issue that does not show the tabs as active. When being in overview mode I still acn see thumbnaisl of the webpages that have be opened before, biut I cannot access and use these pages when I click on that corresponding tab.

What can I do to gain access to my obviously opened tabs again? Thanks in advance!

On an iPhone, Firefox stores your browsing history within the app’s local storage, which is not directly accessible due to iOS’s security restrictions.

However, you can only export your ~FUTURE~ local mobile browsing history by using Firefox Sync.

Firefox Sync does not work retroactively for local mobile browsing history from past sessions due to the way the synchronization process is structured.

TL;DR: I want to export my local mobile browsing history as .txt or .csv -- When you enable Firefox Sync, it starts syncing the data from that point forward. However, my pre-existing local mobile browsing history cannot be exported as a file such as bookmarks can, and it cannot be saved to my desktop via Firefox Sync for the reasons above. Thus, it is literally only possible to scroll over it and open the sites one-by-one in order to pop them into the Sync-able history, which I do not want to do using iOS automation...

Help me synch all passwords from Firefox on my MS Surface Pro to my new iphone 15promax. It was synching just fine with my iphone 13 but with new phone I am lost. I have selected the option to Sync passwords but it is not working.

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.
