I'm using Firefox focus on my iPhone.

iOS is the latest version of 15 and 16.

Question 1.

We use it as a content blocker for Safari.

When I open iCloud notes, the characters are not displayed. Only the photo will be displayed. If you remove the content blocker, it will be displayed normally.

The language used is Japanese.

Can I avoid it by setting focus?

Question 2.

I thought I'd check the iOS version.

If you enter iOS 16.7.8 in the search field, you will get a URL error.

I can do it with other browsers, but why can't I do it with focus?

Is there a solution?

I'm using Focus on iOS. I have recently changed the password for a frequently used site, but Focus always cues me with the obsolete password. I can go into Lockwise and get the right one, but is there some way to clear this cached old password? I use Firefox and have it synced between iOS and Windows versions. It does not have this issue because the Firefox menu has a clear site data etc. option. How can I do this for Focus? Thanks.

I was looking up a Kinder candy product called "Happy Hippo" yesterday afternoon, and briefly surfed around a website for a weird American supplement company with the same name that also came up in the search results. (Just out of curiosity trying to figure out what the supplement they were selling even was.)

That supplement company subsequently showed up in my inbox this morning offering me a discount code. And to state the obvious: I ABSOLUTELY did not give this sketchy supplement company my email address while on their site.

I would be alarmed to find any company tracking me to my inbox after simply browsing their website for less than two minutes, but for it to happen after using Firefox Focus, I'm also dismayed.

I've already unsubscribed from their mailings and sent a strongly worded email about the invasion of internet user privacy, but half the problem must also lie on Firefox Focus' end. I don't know who can look for bugs or loopholes that would have let this happen, but hopefully reporting it here will start that process.

When I open Firefox Focus on my iPad Pro it does not let me type from my Magic Keyboard. I would need to detach the Magic Keyboard to bring up the touch keyboard.

I literally have no idea how to use it. The moment I click to close ad on many websites, the website redirects me. In other browsers, new tab opens which I can just close. However, here I need to return to the previous website, which sometimes even doesn’t work from ad website. How am I supposed to go through closing ads so that I can finally start, e.g. watching a video?

As far as I am concerned there is no way of opening multiple tabs on this browser, which means there most likely isn’t option to automatically open links in a new tab.

I’m having trouble getting GPC for my iphone. I don’t use regular Firefox because my cellular is too slow. Focus is light and works. Is it true Mozilla has not added GPC to Focus?

My phone crashed while I was on Firefox Focus (for iOS) and was in the middle of writing my mom’s obituary on a website. Is it possible to find that website on Firefox Focus? Is there a cache of recently visited websites? 😢

Hello. For quite a while now, probably a year or so, I have not been able to see icons in Facebook when I use Focus on my iPhone.

I'm running iOS 16.6 currently, and Focus 119.0 (17290).

I am attaching screenshots of what the Facebook page looks like. All of the icons are just little squares, which is kind of annoying when trying to navigate. The navigation *works* -- it's just not showing on the page.

Is anyone else having this problem, and do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

My Firefox Focus browser icon has disappeared from my Home Screen. It is still listed as my default browser in Settings but I can’t access it except through Siri which brings it up as an app. I’ve tried rebooting the phone but it doesn’t show up. Can anyone please help me with this issue?
