I want to check which sites have enabled cookies. I have done this before but now if I click the firefox logo top left all I get is firefox view. I can't see a Tools button or a Menu button. Is this because I am still using Windows 8.1? I know I shouldn't be but there is no chance of a n upgrade at the moment.

bold textmy email address has been disontinued, closed how do I change it without losing info when I put in new email it tell s me its already using it????

When I type in entries via the keyboard, the typed letters/numbers or characters appear as random nonsence, for instance “ :'`zxcvb nghjkl; '`zx cvbnm,. /12345 67890-= ”, rendering your app unusable. The keyboard works fine on all other apps, I have to type anything I want to enter into Firefox into a word document first, copy it & then paste it into Firefox, which is what I have done here. This has been going on for some time & has not been resolved despite several updates to the latest version. What can I do to resolve the problem. I use Duck Duck Go as my search engine. I need to get on mycitizenebox.belgium.be/myebox I'm still on a desktop using MS Windows 8.1 I downloaded the eID-Quickinstaller succesfully, but getting my e-box failed, I need to close the Mozilla Firefox browser. How ?

My IDM extension no longer seems to be the default downloader. Downloads now come via the native Windows (8.1) downloader. Can you suggest any way of resolving this issue?

i removed the hard drive from my computer and added it to my new computer with the expectation that I wouldn't have to reload all my programs. It didn't work so I reinstalled the drive to the old computer. for reasons unknown Firefox refused to load data on any of my sites. So I reinstalled Firefox. It works fine except I don't have history, can't access my passwords or my bookmarks HELP!

I wasn't sure which category to choose. Youtube videos have a spinning with the message to try system restart if playing won't begin but it never does. The videos play fine in Opera and as far as Firefox itself, I have no problems with any other websites. I am unable to perform gymnastics in order to resolve this, but it's quite bothersome. Thank you.

Edit: Sorry, I posted this once already but am frustrated and can't figure out how to delete this one. I have not gone through starting in safe mode, etc.

Any way to Undue the new version ?? This suks...No Like the search to automatic transfer or jump to the address bar. Will be switching over to Google Chrome if not....Did they NOT learn thru Yahoo??? You do not give us a choice we move on.....

Hi there, got the new and latest and love Mozilla and its on all my devices...However, in the new upgrade,under the old one by or under the little "star" of the browser bar where Http shows up etc... there used to be a drop down menu which allowed you to take a "screen shot" and save and copy which I used often enough to notice it was missing or "elsewhere"? Can you educate me as to where to look for that tool now...It was very convenient as part of the bookmark set up before...thanks..

Why are there ten to fifteen background processes running slowing and freezing my computer? I have to go to the task manager and shut most down, hoping I don't hit the one that closes my page. Doesn't matter if I have one tab open or many. I'm ready to quit using Firefox. Every update gets worse. Seems like more and more processes keep building. Sometimes there are so many background processes running I can't count them. Firefox use to run like a dream. Now it's like a giant weight clogging up the gears.

I reinstalled Firefox on my desktop. I lost all my favorites and bookmarks. I still have them on my laptop. How do I sync, retrieve them form my laptop, not erase them from by laptop?

So my problem is as follows:

When I attempt to click on a drop down menu on a website, the menu appears and then disappears before I click on an option. I can cycle through the menu choices, but can't click on one to select anything.

The other issue is on websites, specifically Instagram it will scroll through photos without clicking on the button to go to the next photo.

I believe it is a preference issue I have checked and just don't know what in the world it can be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Recently FFox completely collapsed on me, no response to clicks anywhere. So I downloaded and reinstalled the program, only to find exactly the same happening.

So I decided on a completely clean install. Before I did that i installed Opera <ptooh> and imported my passwords and bookmarks from FFox.

Haven't as yet found a way of re-importing those items exported, but that's a worry for another day.

First problem is that even when I add Bookmarks using either Ctrl+D or the fancy start to the right of the address bar nothing gets added to Bookmarks.

Recent Bookmarks ?? Nothing

Manage Bookmarks ??? Not a thing.

Next problem is that despite being very active here there and everywhere on the web over the last few days since re-install - I HAVE NO HISTORY !!

Clicking on the three bars top right, and then on History >> Recent History gives me zilch. Nada. Nothing at all.

It took me days to eradicate almost every sign of Edge from this computer, but I'm starting to think that maybe I might like to try it, so please offer me some assistance with my FFox problems.

My 'Other Bookmarks' used to open on the left of the screen. Now they appear on the right hand side. How do I get them back to the left hand side please. The toolbar is ok and the regular drop down is ok.
