On my MacBookAir (M2) audio on a lot of sites is out off sync (Imgur, X) but not on YouTube or streaming services (netflix and others). I restarted FF in save mode: no improvement. FF is up to date. OSX is up to date.

If I open a website in Safari there is no problem: audio/video perfectly in sync; gifs on Imgur.com for instance.

Not sure but on my MacBookPro (Intel) there was no such a problem.

Suggestions?

i love firefox. however I made a donation of $21,40 on 10/24/23. problem is it appeared on my credit again on12.22.23. I did not plan on a recurring donation. how do I stop the recurrence?

I can't figure out how to understand Developer Tools - Network Tab - Response Time for XHR API-calls.

As far as I can see, the column 'Response Time', measure the time in hours, minutes, seconds the user has spend on this website, instead of measuring the time it took for the XHR call to return to the browser.

I'm a professional web-developer - being comfortable with using and understanding F12-Developer tools across browsers.

Many files and folders have accumulated under the <profile>/storage/archives/0/ folder. The root folders therein are apparently named according to the yyyy-MM-dd date format. The dates range from ca. 1-2 years old.

The only information I could find about this folder was via ChatGPT, but that is not a reliable source of course.

Can I safely delete these folders and/or exclude them from a profile backup?

Our university uses a box.com app. It's basically box but personalized for our use. I have a number of documents that I cannot open using Firefox. When I switch to Chrome, I am able to access the documents. Any ideas? I'm thinking there is a setting in Firefox I need to change, but not sure which one.

How can I find detailed information about the devices used in my account? There is some information in the Connected Services section but I would like more detailed information.

I am having icloud calendar issues in the firefox browser. Recently apple changed some of how their calendar looks in a browser. At the same time I began noticing icloud calendar events are getting messed up in firefox. Events from the day before are often missing. Events on the current day are 5 hours later. However, if in another browser, like Brave & Chrome, the calendar events are correct. I prefer to use Firefox. My places.sqlite file deleted all previous history on Jan 17th at about 11:07 PM all the way back to early December of 2023. Ccleaner was last run on Jan 11th and the browser settings are set to clear cache and cookies only. The computer was showing no issues and I did not discover the lost history until I pulled up the history four days later. The history identified only the past four days when the last week was selected. The sessionstore-backups folder showed files back to January 1st. What I cannot figure out is why the places. sqlite would just clear on its own and why I cannot activate any previous sessionstore file by following the mozilla firefox instructions below.

I only get the landing page with the option to restore the previous session grayed out. What common reasons are there for a places.sqlite file to wipe out a block of history and why would reactivate a previous session not work? Thanks!

Hi there.

I like Firefox / Mozilla. However, Chrome wants to be my default and I want to stay with Firefox / Mozilla. When I click on a link in my email or an article with a link, Chrome takes over! It has been happening for about a week or 2, and I don't want it to happen. Do you have any ideas about how I can stop this, please?

I am using windows 10 and Firefox and use Bing I am after a NON Google search engine and OS that will also handle gaming as good as windows 11 but I am not happy with Microsoft either Every where I go there Is google which I hate It has too much control getting away with AI that isn't accountable for fraudulent acts I use to use Ubuntu but now I still am a Gamer but I don't like adds and spy ware like Google evading my computer
