I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

It renders correctly in Chromium.

Firefox 126.0 using the recommended performance settings on Mint 21.3, nvidia quadro p620 using the official nvidia drivers v535.171.04-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

I was scrolling trying to make cards for Father's Day and there was a pornographic image where there should have been a fairytale castle coloring page. How do I make sure this does not happen again?

For some reason I notice that some of our image files, viewed after opening an online pdf document with images within, shows random white horizontal lines. This is not shown using edge or chrome. you can go here to view https://mcclone.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Connects-Issue-12.pdf.

Running Win 11 Pro with the Firefox - 64 bit - All updated per June 9th.

ISSUE: Website tells me I have an 'add blocker' or the product 'addblocker' installed. I don't. However I get blocked even viewing my own website: fleksjobbernetvaerket.dk .... and others as well.... It's full of Google ads.

SOLUTION: I searched for how to solve this, but none of it is working, not even re-setting or re-installing Firefox, emptying cache, files and folders. I kinda gave up on this.

I have 228 kb of cached web content that refuses to clear. Say there is 1.5 mb cached, and when I clear, the 228 kb is still there. It interferes with a web site I visit. Please help me get rid of this! Thanks in advance.

I was able to open all attachment that came with my Yahoo mail. Since this morning I can not open any attachments-word, excel or PDF What happened? How do I go back to be able to open all attachments

After the tab crashes there appears a box from Firefox that says it will report the tab crash and then at the bottom of the info box there is the option of reconnecting or reestablishing the connection with the tab that had just crashed but nothing seems to be happening. Hi ... the Firefox icon opens windows explorer instead of Firefox. I would prefer firefox, but I am forced to use Edge instead. Oh, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times.

When I click on certain name on my friends list to do a video call when I click the camera on the message page, it says: Can not do video calls from this browser. So do some do not. I disabled all addons and still it says the same error. Is it because of Facebook encryptions? I also could before. So what now?

YouTube's search filters are missing when I use Firefox, but they work when I use Chrome. Is anyone else having a similar problem? (The images show the working Chrome site.)

This is not a bug or issue, rather a use case question. I have a webpage with information and I don't want to accidentally click or submit anything on the page.

This could also be considering having a form etc in draft form as view-only so you go into "View Only Mode" and work the webpage as a reference etc. without having to worry about any accidental submission or mistakes.

If someone knows of Add-ons or how we can achieve it with FF, it would be much appreciated. Posting, since I expect to have this case often.

When I open Firefox browser the browser restsets and changes color to pink in the web address line. I have asked this question before. Is there someone technically familar with Firefox that can resolve this issue?

Hello! I have Firefox and Google set to Dark Mode. Suddenly this week, when I do a search, the answers are coming up not in dark mode. I can hit refresh several times and it will eventually go back to being Dark.

I have checked and I am running the lastest version of Firefox and my Windows is up to date.

Does anyone have any ideas?
