I can get to log in screen ( Sams' club) but it goes right back to the are you human screen?,

I can access the website if turn off Adblocker Ultimate. Adblocker appears up to date. When I disable Adblocker there is still a request, but this time a button below to press and hold which takes me to login screen. I can successfully login then. Reporting the issue which began within 5 min of the last Firefox update. I updated 3/23/2024

Yesterday I was playing videos on rumble fine. Sat my laptop down, picked it back up after waking up and suddenly no sound on any rumble.com video. Youtube plays video and audio fine. So does X and truth social. In fact, any website plays audio EXCEPT rumble.com. Its not Windows related. Its firefox related. I installed Chrome and rumble.com plays with sound fine. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled and that didnt fix it. I have rumble installed via WebCatalog an it plays videos and audio fine. I then installed Firefox nightly and never signed in or anything and still rumble isnt playing sound. Its rumble+firefox=no sound. And it appears to be happening to others too on other help forums. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?

My home screen and all other browsing screens are so high and wide that I can't scroll down because the side slide bar is not on the screen. I have no idea how this happened! I can't find any articles that help me reduce the screen size that I can understand. There seems to be no solution option in firefox settings to adjust the screen size. The View tab does not help because it just offers zooming of the data on the screen, not the actual size of the screen.

I am going to use Chrome and/or MS Edge until this screen size issue is resolve by firefox, and I may not come back to using firefox any more - including cancelling my subscription to Mozilla VPN.

I am facing an issue with my Firefox.

This most commonly occurs with video playback webapps like YouTube Shorts. Intermittently, but often enough to be incredibly annoying!!) videos will stick while audio plays in the background. This does not always happen, but once it starts there seems to be some sort of cooling off period before things work again.

Reddit video player never works, seeming to silently crash - never showing the play button or video controls overlay.

I have had miscellenious other issue with other website that include forms to fill out and navigate where the elements like "next" or "submit" are completely unresponsive.

  • Refreshing the page does not fix it.
  • Clearing Firefox's cache and data did not fix it.
  • "Refreshing" Firefox did not fix it.

Strangely, the same video/page will always work on a Private browser window. I appreciate that these windows don't have extensions active, but I have activated every extension in private browsing and it still works.

The only extensions I have are:

  • Privacy Badger
  • uBlock Origin
  • Bitwarden

I have no idea what it is about my "normal" browser which is broken, and why things are fine in the private window, but this is immensely frustrating.

I really don't want to have to change to another browser (Chrome... ew...) but I need this fixed if I am to continue.

I recently bought new computer with Windows 11 Home Edition. Downloaded FIREFOX browser and migrated in my bookmarks, (which worked GREAT!!!!). Then I attempted to log into the Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) website. I could enter my user name, password and security question but then I received a message, on their website: "The system is experiencing problems. Please try again later." (see attachment below). After working with YNCU staff for HOURS, it was suggested that I log in using "Microsoft EDGE" browser. My login was accepted in seconds - NO problems. Today I attempted to log into the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Again I was able to enter my user name, password and answer to my security question. The response I received was: "404 -- NOT FOUND From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1: 10,4.5 404 Not Found The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition it temporary or permanent. If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address." I immediately attempted to log into the CRA website using "Microsoft EDGE" and was IMMEDIATELY granted access after entering security information. I REALLY LIKE using the FIREFOX browser - and detest using Microsoft EDGE, but unless this access issue is resolved I will be forced to use EDGE :(.

Trying To Fix The Wrong Time in Firefox Ended Up Removing Firefox's Ability to Display a Player Within a Site if Another Site Has Embedded it.

My Firefox browser did not update with daylight savings (this is my first time being in a country with daylight savings with this PC) and now all in-browser times are an hour behind, which is already really confusing for someone experiencing daylight savings for the first time. Now that I do not have a phone, this went from mildly annoying to really messing up my day-to-day life. As a result, I researched, found and followed this question-and-answer proposed solution to my issue but it didn't work. Now, I've been pushed a step backward because I have also lost the ability to view TV shows and movies on third party websites because the player will not load and a 'Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it' notice will pop up (image for reference). This is super infuriating due to the fact that my PC is older and genuinely cannot run any kind of chromium browser and Firefox is the only way I can access said third party sites. It would be wonderful is anyone had a solution for both issues; thank you!

My webite https://www.tanzaniabirds.net/alphabetical1.htm#gsc.tab=0 has an SSL certificate. The website shows as secure on Edge, Chrome and Safari but not on Firefox. The message on the Firefox secure symbol says parts of the page such as photos are not secure. This website is practically all photos taken by me and friends. What can be done to make it show as secure on Firefox? Thanks.

Attempting to disable FF Password manager completely for my org via a plist.

Currently have the password manager itself disabled but can't figure out how to disable the Auto-fill settings with previously saved passwords prior to the password manager being disabled?

Is this possible? Or is this disabled already when the password manager itself is disabled?

Currently have this set via a plist:

<key>PasswordManagerEnabled</key> <false/>

I am running Firefox. When I open the Task Manager, it shows that there are 13 Apps listed for Firefox with 1 for Runtime Broker. I have only 2 tabs open. Task manager shows that all together the Firefox apps are using only 0.4% of CPU, but are using 521.3MB of memory. When moving around the different apps I am using, the non Firefox apps are running more slowly due to the amount of memory used by all these Firefox accounts. I want to know what are these apps and why are they there when I have only the 2 tabs open?

The most recent update, has caused my firefox to not work properly. Firstly i noticed that it reset all my extensions and themes and now i have noticed that it has affected some sites i was storing data on, for example, i use a site which keeps a track of all the camos i have achieved for Call of Duty MW3. This has now been reset. These can all be redone, but it is something i shouldn't have to do, with an update, as it has never happened before with a firefox update. The way it has been going, i am sure i will find more errors with firefox. Hopefully something can be done, maybe not in this instance but in future "Improvements", as it is not a good user experience!

I have the latest version of Firefox (124.0.1) that I'm using on macOS (14.4). The problem is that the whole top section of the browser (tab bar, location bar, and bookmarks bar) is dimmed out a lot of the time. Including when the browser has desktop focus. This, as you might imagine, is very annoying.

Don't know what's changed, I haven't done anything to Firefox that would make this happen. Wondering if this is a bug in the latest version that will be fixed, or if I need to pursue this. My plan would be to log out of my Mozilla account on the browser, reset all the settings, then log back into my Mozilla account in the hopes that this is something that won't survive that process; i.e. not saved in my saved settings.

I'm about at the point of stopping use of Firefox, which I really don't want to do, if I can't fix this due to eyestrain from squinting at dimmed tabs, etc. If this is a release-related problem, I can put up with it until it's fixed.
