There a number of web sites (eg Trustpilot, Moneysupermarket) where an irritating 'Use your Google account to sign in' popup appears on the login page. Is there any way I can stop this appearing?

updated to Version 124.0.1 (64-bit), now adblocker ultimate blocking website ( are you human? not a robot requests). There's no button to confirm.

I can get to log in screen ( Sams' club) but it goes right back to the are you human screen?, 

I can access the website if turn off Adblocker Ultimate. Adblocker appears up to date. When I disable Adblocker there is still a request, but this time a button below to press and hold which takes me to login screen. I can successfully login then. Reporting the issue which began within 5 min of the last Firefox update. I updated 3/23/2024

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? You're asking me to go to the menu and choose: syncronice and save! Well there ain't no 'sync and save' point in my menu! Not even 'syncronice'! I need correct direction in order to 'sync' my PC and my phone! Please help! Thank you and have a nice day!

You don't give me the proper. Software I have a Samsung Galaxy and it keeps giving me Android software because it downloads it and I go to sign in to Google and tells me I have android and don't recognize my galaxy fire fox for Android wrong software screw up my phone and accounts

why do my add-ons keep getting disabled?

ff keeps disabling add-ons that i have used for years and even keep a v. 5 to use the older add-ons and use the latest ff developer to use w/ more modern websites. ff even disables add-ons that worked perfectly well in ff developer and does not even give me the opportunity to re-enable them like i could before.

is there any way to force my old version to let ME decide what i want disabled/enabled?

Autofill has been working perfectly fine until yesterday. There's not even a manage addresses in the privacy and security settings anymore.

Autofill card still works, but not addresses.

Under "Settings" > "Files and Applications" > "Downloads", I have selected "Save files to [Downloads]" and I have set the tick mark in the box ("Always ask you where to save files"). See screenshot.

This setting used to work fine for many a year. However, some months ago - and ongoing - Firefox does no longer ask me where to save a downloaded file. This is very annoying indeed!

How can I fix this?

When I try to log into my AMEX account with FF, nothing happens. The screen refreshes itself, but no log in, and no error or other kind of message. I have entered my User Name and Password manually and using Auto fill, no success.

This problem was posted in January 2020 and I have tried all of the solutions. I have cleared cookies and cache for ALL sites and cleared saved logins for Amex. Still does not work. I have tried logged in and incognito mode. Still doesn't work. I can log in on Chrome with no problems.

It was working fine a few days ago.

Hi, its been a while now that I've noticed every version of FF doesn't work that well with Facebook. For example, I'm scrolling through posts and when I click on a picture to open the post, the mouse click area is miles out to close pop up windows etc. It only happens on some posts but a majority is this issue.

Anyone else has this problem? FB via Chrome works fine.

All of the files I try to download fail immediately. Even extensions will not download on firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked the download location. Downloads work on other browsers such as Chrome fine but nothing will download on Firefox.

When you add a new bookmark to a folder it's added at the end of the existing list.

Is there a way to make Firefox add it at the top of the list, instead?

I found an old answer, but, sadly, the extension granting my wish is no longer.

Also, I already know about sorting, but it's not what I need, because I'm doing a lot of manual bookmarks reordering and sorting will nullify it.

Having issues connecting to a website i normally use daily for many years, Don't have an issue when using MS Edge. Only having issues with this specific web page.

Server not found Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I keep getting Review Your Global Privacy Control preferences message, almost every time I start the browser. I have selected "Don't Allow" option many times and have also went and managed my privacy controls. But, the popup message won't stop coming.

How do I stop the popup message?

I have been Firefox/Mozilla user from the very early days but I am at a point where I have to stop using it because of this annoying popup message.
