On a couple of websites, but in particular Rogers.com, the captcha just never ends. It asks to click on all the bicycles, I click on them one at a time until no more appear, hit verify, it brings up something else. It will do this dozens of times and just never ever end.

Switch over to Edge, does the same. Switched to chrome and it works fine. Has google done something to captcha to deny it working on other browsers?

I have checked to see firefox is up to date and it is. I have disabled all extensions/addons. I have run malware/virus scans. On the Rogers community forums there are all kinds of people having problems but there are no solutions on how to fix. Oddly (or not) the problems are similar...captcha won't work on Edge, Firefox but will work on Chrome.

Since about one year I am unable to use Japanese input only in Firefox. When I try to switch with fcitx and control+space, nothing happens. However, fcitx-mocz works everywhere else on my computer (i.e. terminal, thunderbird, other browsers, etc.). Furthermore, I uninstalled fcitx and everything associated with it and reinstalled it according to this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1367181 (just with mocz for Japanese). This also didn't change anything. Any help is appreciated! I view a lot of pdf documents via firefox, the light gray background makes my eyes and head hurt after prolonged usage. In the past I found a solution on this forum that advised to set pdfjs.viewerCssTheme to "2" in about:config. This set the background of pdf viewer to black/dark gray. This has worked for years until recently when the pdf viewer switched to light mode again (pic 1). I checked the about:config settings for pdfjs.viewerCssTheme but there appears to be no change. I tried restarting the browser, setting the theme to 0 and to 2 again, updating browser. Sadly the theme is still light gray. Is there a way to change it again? The desired outcome is in pic 2. I do NOT want to change the color of the pdf pages themselves.

After last update, Missing "TRASH" folder and only have Junk Folder that everything is put in and marked as "Junk". Then those messages are all marked as "junk" automatically that may not be Junk. Tried to create subfolder named "Trash" and will not allow. Windows 10, 64 bit Dell laptop I-5 Inspiron 5759.

When I type my last name using shift + first letter, it always comes out in lower case, which wastes my time correcting. How do I set it back to using upper case with shift +?

I've always liked the Firefox New Tab page, with Pocket, and until today, DarkReader plugin has always worked. But now it says that it can't because the page is protected.

I tried the solution to use bookmarklets, suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1350781, but it didn't have any effect (https://sanketmehta7.github.io/DarkMode-JS-BookMark/

If I can't find a solution, I'll just ditch Pocket, and use Google as my first page, or something. Or maybe ditch Firefox, which doesn't seem to think that dark mode is important. I don't like being blinded by the light.

Firefox won't play YouTube videos. I've tried everything. There seem to be plenty of problems on the forum BUT NO SOLUTIONS!

As long as I have an incognito window open, Firefox will reopen old tabs everytime I open a new "regular" window, even if "Open previous windows and tabs" is unchecked.

Why can't you pin the extension 'Tiny URL' to the toolbar any more?

This extension is really useful! I don't want to have to excavate Firefox to use it.

Tiny URL is more useful than the rather silly 'Pocket' which just seems to be a page full of adverts

My Get Messages is grayed out, how do I fix? Not downloading messages I searched the answers for this and tried what was suggested and now the Mail Toolbar is completely gone, the suggestion was to Restore Default setting and I did and now my Toolbar is completely gone

Firefox for Linux has a bug where it is unable to drag a tab from a non-active window. As in, if the window focus is on Firefox window A and I try to drag a tab from Firefox window B to window A, I have to click first the window. I can't just intuitively drag the tab from a non-active window, because it will get ignored. It will just activate the window, ignoring the drag.

Firefox for Linux, running on Nobara KDE latest desktop. Confirmed also on KDE Neon latest desktop.

In about.config i set javascript.enabled false for most browsing, unless i really need to do otherwise (e.g. ecommerce). If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

Starting this morning I suddenly cant delete or mark emails as read in Outlook.live.com. Even if I open an email, and it appears as read after that, if I refresh or leave the page and come back, its marked as read again.

I tried dropping all add-ons (a kill switch to drop all add-ons and re-activate them is still a feature I feel Firefox needs, I have to click every single one of them every time) to no avail.

I was in the process of writing this question on the Microsoft forums (which is usually like whizzing in the wind) when I thought to try a different browser. I had zero issues and Outlook.live.com worked perfectly normal on Microsoft Edge.

This HAS to be a bug in a recent update in Firefox
