Hello, By default, DoH fails on Max Protection in the latest OS versions listed above. The workaround I've discovered is using https://1.1.1.1/dns-query, but I would rather use the default settings.

CVE-2024-4367 has been announced several days now with MITRE and CIS. There is also an issue/advisory on the github repo for PDF.js which appears that the fix has been merged into the master commit of PDF.js (https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-wgrm-67xf-hhpq).

The vulnerability is pretty serious and yet there is no Security Advisory from Mozilla on affected versions, etc. (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/)

Is this normal and I am just being impatient?

using Win 11, Firefox browser, Google search. subfolders are listed but will not open. Using Bing they do open but I prefer Google. If this is a Google problem or a Win 11 can you steer me in the right direction. Thanks My email is artsiii@aol.com

Hi, I am trying to login to my emails and after entering my password the following message comes up message comes up. 'Login to server mail.optusnet.com.au with username dianne.hill failed' Can you please help me?

I filter messages to move spam to my trash folder. I don't use the spam & junk functions.

I'm on some oddball's list who sends all their spam in bold italics and an uncommon font.

Easy to spot but it's easily 30 a day. I'd love to filter them. I don't see a 'by formatting' option.

I haven't been able to login with MFA on my uni website and also make purchases using credit cards on commercial sites.

I have tried Troubleshooting mode and the problem persists. Switching to Opera browser showed normal functionality.

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

Im using Thunderbird Beta release. Starting last week, my PC would become extremely slow, to the point it would nearly come to a complete halt. After digging around, I realized it was due to excessively large Thunderbird NSTMP files that were being created. I would delete them and the speed would improve. But then a while later, the NSTMP files reappear and gobble up all my Harddisk again. Part of the issue is the sheer large size of the file, which will consume all available space on my HD, which at present is 600GB. But it also eats up all my RAM so my system slows down til the NSTMP file is fully built.

I use this as imap with Gmail installed on a PC with a 1TB SSD

Today after my pc started slowing again, I started poking around and noticed my main Inbox is massive, 29GB, which there is no chance its that large. All Mail is only 1GB to give perspective

This has been going on about a week.

I tried repairing my inboxes and other folders, but that does not seem to have helped.

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? I added a PNG picture as a background to my emails. Instead of a single background picture, it produces a collage (can't think of another word) of multiple copies of the same picture. Any way to just get a single picture?

Created several email mailing lists. Stored them in the Personal Address Book (PAB). I'm sorry, but Thunderbird doesn't seem to work like any other email client. How do I address an email using one of those mailing lists in the PAB. Tried typing the whole name of the mailing list in the To: field. Didn't work. I'm not entirely stupid but it doesn't make sense to me.

Hello, Firefox just released the newest version on PC and advertised it with a speedtest: https://browserbench.org/Speedometer3.0/ I made that test and got a score of 7.03 I made that test on Opera mobile (My phone got locked while the speedtest was running, so this may had impact) and got a score of poorly 2.14 BUT on Mozilla mobile which I can confirm feels SLOW is the speed score: 1.70 And now lesser is not = better. I like that you can arrange tabs, I like that you can use addons, but I miss a scrollbar, I miss side LOADING/OPENING speed. Many many people love Firefox on PC, but why is it that slow on mobile? And why can I not get a button to scroll fast up and down? I have to install a addon which I need to access everytime to click "scroll to top/bottom". That isn't handy!

I really wish, the developers would share some love, because I LOVE firefox, but this is just not useable :( I mean come on, a scrollbar! Give it me! And SPEED. And no my Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 8GB ram isn't too slow.

I don’t understand what Firefox is doing. For example, I used to start typing the first few letters of “weather.com”, which I visit pretty much daily, and it would auto fill “weather.com”. Now it auto fills every time with http://www.weatherbase.com/. I don’t know where that came from. Similarly, I used to type the first few letters of “duckduckgo.com” and it would bring up “duckduckgo.com”. Now it brings up a magnifying glass below the url with “Search with duckduckgo”. I am thinking it might be best if I can start over, i.e. clear out any information it’s saved about where it thinks I want to go, and start remembering the sites I am entering now.

I'm running Firefox which I compiled with vaapi support because I was trying to use hardware acceleration for videos, so I think this bug may have something to do with that. Every time I open a pdf file my browser instantly crashes. When I use troubleshoot mode I have no such issue. I then tried with a fresh all-default user profile with no add-ons, nothing, and still I crash when loading a PDF. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Sometimes I find that Firefox just randomly closes on my laptop, usually when I step away for about 10-20 minutes. I can't find any info in the about:crashes page when it happens.
