Many of the websites I access ask if I want them to remember my login info--username and password. For those that I trust, I indicate that I want them to remember this information, and for most I get an e-mail confirming that my device is registered. However, the next time I log in, I still have to go through the entire login. Is this a Firefox issue, and if so, how can I correct this?

Cannot log in to a site I usually log into - but logins still valid via Edge.

I generally go here https://www.tafesa.edu.au/ and select 'learn' and log in there. Now I just get a window saying 'Taking you to your organisation's log in page' and circling dots and it stays there forever. That window is, I think, from Tafesa. So it sounds like a Tafesa problem.

BUT: I use Edge and it all goes smoothly and I log in. Which sounds like Firefox is not handling something from that site.

Anyone got any ideas on what i could do to get Firefox working on this?

In the last few weeks Firefox will not open even when using admin rights. NOTE: I have followed all available posts including multiple uninstalls (complete), deleting Firefox folders, reinstalling, etc. There have been no major (or known) changes to my Windows 10 Pro system. I run Heimdal Thor and Kaspersky antivirus protection and there have been no conflicts running both at any time. I also use Acronis Protection (I know it may seem like overkill but it works). I have turned off each of the above and Firefox still does not open. Firefox runs with no problems on my personal and work laptops. I am CompTia A+ Certified so somewhat knowledgeable (a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!) and have run sfc /scannow with no issues noted. Plus, two Heimdal support reps have logged onto my system, attempted to find a solution, found no issues with my system (Omen 880 even though I don't game). My wife is a dedicated Firefox user and wants it back.

On my Windows 10 desktop, I have used www.bostonglobe.com for years with no problem. Firefox keeps me logged in and if, for any reason, am not, I click on the login link and Firefox fills in my login. Lately this does not work. I just updated Firefox and it still does not work. Bostonglobe.com loads but when I click on the login link all I get is a blank page. This works in Chrome and in Firefox on my Samsung tablet. I deleted all the bostonglobe cookies but this does not help. I have rebooted the computer and this does not help either. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

But then I get a message from "7-ZIP" that reads "Can not create temp folder archive"

I'm stuck. Advice?

I have tried all of the suggested solutions here at Mozilla for how to delete a website URL from being autofilled: whenever I type 'pre', the autofill function fills in the rest of the website 'www.preply.com'. It was a horrible ESL teaching scam website, I only taught through it for a month last November then quit when they ripped me off. But now since last November, any time I type in 'pre'–I invariably see their annoying, shitty website :-( It is very annoying because it was a bad employer experience–and now I cannot ever remove them from Firefox :-(

I tried deleting it in the address bar with shift + delete, then also went into some obscure Firefox folder and deleted some file with Firefox closed (this was the supposed "solution"–it did NOT work).

Is there any way to solve this incredibly annoying issue? Or should I just switch to Chrome or Safari and give up? Very disappointed in how impossible Firefox makes deleting autofill URLS, really, REALLY BAD software programming. Any helpful or solution greatly appreciated thx :-)

Firefox Browser

When I use Microsoft Edge Browser in the top row it shows my Bookmarks and to the left it also shows an icon that allows you to jump back to the Edge Browser.

In Mozilla Firefox there is no icon to take you back to the Firefox browser. Occasionally a site will Hi-Jack you and trying to use the back arrow to get back to the Browser does not work. The only solution is to shut down the Firefox browser and then restart it again.

I would rather use Firefox as it support HTML 5 audio which is not supported in Microsoft Edge.

Can you please advise.

Unfortunately there are several instances of my main email address. Some with old passwords some from I know not where. I need to delete all those except the current one. I have tried clearing the cache and data but to no effect. The duplicates do not appear if I use a different browser, so it would seem to be a Firefox issue.

After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Hi, my Firefox on Win10 doesn't work, I've been forced to go back to Chrome. After a crash in Win10, Firefox doesn't work anymore: it opens, be it launched by me or by other programs, but it just sits there, blank, doing nothing. It is impossible to interact with menus and everything. Task Manager shows two open instances of the browser, using RAM, but the browser doesn't do anything. It doesn't "crash" and it doesn't freeze, it just stays like that. If I quit it and try opening it again the PC tells me it's open already, and Task Manager shows a couple instances staying there after quitting it, as if it stayed stuck. I tried resetting it from the Apps settings of Windows, but nothing happened, I tried uninstalling it and then installing it again, but nothing happened. Restarting the PC a couple of times changed nothing. In the end, I had to go back to Chrome and even put it as default browser because all programs were calling up Firefox which stayed unresponsive. Anybody knows what I should do in a case like this?
