My Firefox keeps going into private browsing on its own. I deleted the app and cleared it and it’s done it again. When I go into settings there is no way for me to uncheck private browsing

On YouTube the video will start playing but the rectangle it should be in will still be black, refreshing usually works. Sometimes a video will simply stop playing. Sometimes i have to close all apps and restart the browser twice to get it to work. Sometimes trying to go to full screen will crash the app. Sometimes popping the app out of full screen into a floating window crashes it. This one is new, it's the uploaded screenshot, it crashed mid video and made the video look funny.

Routing the Nekobox proxy through AdGuard does not work in Firefox for Android. In Nekobox, it looks like the packet is sent and connected, but in whatsmyipadress, the original IP address is displayed. I put the local host address and port number for Nekobox in http.proxy in about:config and restarted, but the original IP address is still displayed.

Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

Thunderbird on my top of the range Win11 laptop was working perfectly until it self-updated to 115.10.1 a couple of days ago. Accessing messages already in the various folder is fast as usual. Unfortunately anything like deleting, downloading a new message is excruciatingly slow : several seconds to click and delete in the inbox. Several seconds to access a message just downloaded. The first time it happened I had a whole bunch of messages deleted because the I kept clicking when I saw no action. It seems to me like it has problem updating the messages in the inbox. Very painful for something that was working so well.

I find a bit illogical the fact that cookies are kept after all tabs that set those in incognito mode were closed. Have to close Firefox completely to make Google forget my account name.

Poczta Thunderbird nie ściągą nowych wiadomości, usuwane teraz stare, wracają do folderów głównych. Przy odbieraniu wiadomości pojawia się komunikat jak na zdjęciu. Ostatnia wiadomość pobrano ok. 100razy.

After updating Thunderbird to 115.5.2 I receive an error when I check (get) messages of my gmail account : 'The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and size......'. However, the messages do come in and so the error turns out false. since the authorization (OAUTH2) credentials are accepted.

I have my server settings check messages from startup; every 5min; automatically download new messages. That works fine. Again only when I goto "Get Messages" the error shows up.

What is wrong here and ho do I fix this? Thank you

This question was asked by someone else in November 2023 but never sign answer. When I click on a link to an address Mozilla should open my Google maps and put that address in automatically. Instead it goes to the Play store to download Google but since I already have it installed I click continue and it opens up Google maps but no address. How do I fix this or is this a glitch in Mozilla?

I sync Firefox between my desktop and Android. After I set up the syncing, I updated the login credentials for all of the websites I visit. I did this through my desktop. When I check my saved passwords on my Android, it shows all of the updated credentials. However, it also shows credentials that I had deleted. I do not show the outdated credentials on my desktop.

I tried uninstalling Firefox on my Android, restarting the device, then reinstalling it, but the problem persists. I could go through the credentials one-by-one, but that's literally hundreds of credentials to sort through, which would take a long time.

Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?

Question: How I can access shared folders in Thunderbird?

Office 365 business. I can access admin portal etc:

portal.office.com/adminportal

And also I can go to Exchange admin portal via this. So, in my opinion I can use all deep settings also.

Office 365 licenses (full) for name.lastname@company.fi. Portal show "Office 365 business standard".

I create also shared folders. Today shared folders found from "Teams groups". Log in to portal.office.com/adminportal, "Teams-Groups", and then "Shared mailboxes".

My conf: Office 365 business standard found name.lastname@company.fi. ("john.smith@company.fi", "alice.brown@company.fi" as example.)

Shared mailboxes sharebox1, sharebox2, so, it is possible receive email sharebox1@company.fi, sharebox2@company.fi etc. (in real life share box names are bookkeeperteam@company.fi, orders@company.fi, helpdesk@company.fi etc etc.)

CONFIGURATION IS FULLY WORKING. It is, in Outlook it is possible receive and send emails, shared folders with messages are available etc.

HOW I can add shared folders to Thunderbird? Clean install tested.

1. LIcenced mailboxes work properly in Thunderbird. Tested.

And smtp: smtp.office365.com, 587, starttls, oauth, name.lastname@company.fi.

This configuration work properly, and it is possible receive and send email from Thunderbird.

SHARED FOLDERS

It is not possible add shared folders.

Server: outlook.office365.com, 993 Username: name.lastname@company.fi/sharebox1 (where name.lastname is real working account name, just same as in position 1- working account. Also this sharebox1 work in outlook.) Connection security: SSL/TSL (no difference is it this or stattsl) Auth: OAuth2

OK: Now I try use this shared folder. It is visible in Thunderbird. But immediately thunderbird open Browser and ask password: "name.lastname/sharebox1", wrtite password. Now I put same pw as in this account (name.lastname..). "Password wrong." I try empty password. I try account password.

SO: HOW to add shared mailbox in Thunderbird? This information "name.lastname/sharebox" not work. Is it any other method? Or any Exchange setting modification make this?

I have 4 different email accounts, all managed by IONOS. These have all been set up under thunderbird OK. But when I send an email from 1 of these email accounts I always have to enter my password for that a/c. With all the other accounts, this is not necessary. I do not use Thunderbird or Firefox password managers. I assume that I must have made an error in setting up the outgoing details when setting up that particular account in Thunderbird, but I cannot find a way of checking if that is the case.

I need to set the output audio for an specific browser. I need someone to chat and access my laptop for help. I am using Krisp. I am trying to select the output audio in the settings of Firefox but nothing is happening

MacOS Sonoma 14.4 seems to have broken a number of apps. AFter updating to Sonoma 14.4 I experienced a great number of crashes with Thunderbird, so I completely uninstalled Thunderbird and removed all traces of plists, Application preferences, everything, reinstalled Thunderbird, and added back the two email accounts I use with it.

It now takes up to 30 seconds to start up Thunderbird, after which it happily no longer crashes, but obviously the startup time is unacceptable. I experience the same problem with Typora, and the developers there informed me that they believe the problem is with a Sonoma change that broke WebKit. I don't know if Thunderbird still uses Gecko or if the new version is WebKit. Please let me know if other Sonoma users have reported this problem or if it's just my system.

Mam dużo otwartych kart. Po zamknięciu kilku kart, gdy wyjdę z aplikacji (zminimalizuje ją) i wejdę ponownie karty które zamknąłem nadal są otwarte. Tak jakby otwierają się na nowo. To bardzo duży problem, nie mogę zamknąć kart. Nie znalazłem nigdzie odpowiedzi na ten problem Proszę o pomóc Pozdrawiam serdecznie
