For some time now FF will not open certain sites that it used to, these sites all open and function normally in other browsers such as Opera. The most important being my online bank! I have contacted the sites involved and they cannot understand why. I have cleared Cache, cookies etc. I'm using FF 88.0 on Ubuntu. Can you help?

The Washington Post has a feature on some articles called "Listen", where the article is read aloud on the device audio. I often use this because my vision is not as good as it used to be, and I can listen while I perform other tasks (e.g., cook). I do use the Malwarebytes add-on, but it doesn't work even when I disable it and the FF tracking protection is turned off.

It does work in both Edge and Chrome, with Malwarebytes enabled.

Since your last update I can no longer view my credit card statements, it downloads a pdf file. If I go to download the pdf instead I receive four pdf files downloaded. The edge and brave browsers don't do this.

Dear firefox support team,

Since yesterday I've been having twitter act oddly on my on my main twitter account, but only using firefox. It keeps being on the 'try again' option window as if the wifi isn't working properly, whilst the Wifi is okay.

It keeps giving me the 'https://twitter.com/?failedScript=main' address too. And I can't think about what Script might be running into an issue. I have access normally on my android phone and google chrome. Doing a 'safe' restart didn't help either, and disabling my extension carried no result either.

I figure, since I can log in on other platforms this might not be a twitter issue, but well, I'm asking here to be sure.

In Switzerland we have a payment App called Twint which is widely used for transferring money and payments. In most case you scan a QR code or put in a name and their mobile phone. However, when it comes to parking it accepts the QR code and then informs the user that Firefox can not deal with the financial transfer. In a telephone call with the Twint organisation this morning it was suggested that I change to Google Chrome!

What is the situation? Is somebody trying to work on a solution or did I really have to change to "Chrome" Andrew R. Nicoll ....

Both online.simplii.com and cibc.com display the same behaviour when selecting a date from a drop-down menu. When the date is 2 digits, the second digit is cut off. (Note: Simplii Financial is owned by CIBC, so I wonder if they use the same code...)

See attached image. In the first line "May 31" has been selected, but it displays "May 3". (Though the form sends the correct "May 31" data.)

I tried to load the check in page on Allegiant Air and it was blank. Every other page loaded. I went to Edge and the page loaded fine. After checking in using Edge I went back to Firefox and tried to view my boarding pass, blank page also. Cookie setting? Probably not but how do I change my cookie selection for a page?

Why does Facebook look old and sluggish in Firefox where's new and polished in other browser? I tried everything from updating app to reinstalling Firefox, but nothing helped, please help!

My Firefox browser was automatically updated to version 101 today May 31, 2022.

The IMDB home page (www.imdb.com) is now broken. The drop down boxes at top right and left are displaying all their options on top of the web page content. Pages are not loading fully.

This is on a MAC. Safari and Chrome browser work properly for the IMDB page.

Is there a fix for this?

Over last several weeks have gotten below when try to go to Forecast.Weather.gov site. Site works on Chrome. Disabled protection and allow pop-ups but still get. Firefox 103.0.1 64 bit on Win10 Pro 21H1.

There is a pop up login box - user name and password - then log in. This has always worked until the 'upgrade' to v103.0.2 but now it just sits there. This is obviously something introduced in the new version so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I can ignore Firefox experience being worst from all browsers out there, but when Firefox randomly (delete/crash/bug or whatever) cookies so I have to re-enter everything over and over again I loose my patience.. Enabled cookie and catche deletion. Whitelisted some sites. It work pretty okay. Time after time I open Firefox, boom, all my setings gone. I'd rather use keylogger on steroids Chrome, but don't have to care about every bug in this barely usable browser..

Hi, I first posted this in error in the Discussions section and was pointed to this forum.

Articles from the Washington Post (washingtonpost.com) are not displaying entirely correctly in FF v103.0.1, Mac OS 10.14.6 (Mojave). The headline and body text appears normally, but the lead graphic or photo is just a blurry smear, the Comments button does nothing, comments do not load at all, the Section button doesn't work, the Sign In button doesn't work, and the magnifying-glass Search function doesn't work correctly). Links at the bottom of the page to other articles do lead to the articles themselves (which are also displayed as described above), but the links, normally shown as an image with a headline, just appear as a gray rectangle. Article display worked normally in 102.0.1 and works normally in Chrome. Articles from the New York Times and a couple of other randomly selected periodicals that I read all work normally in 103.0.1.

jscher2000, a Discussions collaborator, suggested that I toggle the Reader View switch. When I do that, the article text displays fine but there are no photos or graphics. In-article links (to sources, other articles, etc.) do work; links to other Washington Post articles produce the same result (very blurry lead photo, no photos at all in the body of the article, Sign In, Section and Comments buttons not working, etc.).

Because the Sign In button on the newly opened article does not work, I can't verify that I am indeed logged in, even though I am logged in on the main washingtonpost.com page.

jscher2000 also suggested that "One possible reason for the content to look blurred on a news site would be if one of your add-ons removed a forced-subscription overlay without cleaning up fully. However, if you are already a subscriber, then that would be unlikely (assuming you are signed in)." I don't quite know what to do about this -- I don't know what the forced-subscription overlay is or where I'd find it or what to do about it. I do have several add-ons installed, mostly to block ads and trackers and promote security. Also, as I mention, I can't verify whether I am still signed in when I open a new article because the new article displays a non-working Sign In button even though I'm signed in on the main page. So I'm kind of stuck on that one.

Everything I describe here was not a problem in FF102.0.1 -- things worked fine. After upgrading to FF103 and finding the problems, I went backward and reinstalled FF102, and after some fumbling around got my old profile installed. Everything worked normally. And everything works normally with the same Web sites and pages in Chrome.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this. In the meantime, I'll go back to FF102.0.1 and stand by for further developments.

What changed with Firefox that the security certificates for IJR.com and westernjournal.com are no longer recognized as being valid? See the example response image that I am getting. I use Thunderbird as my email client. I am getting the results shown in the uploaded image whenever I click on a link to an article from the email displayed in Firefox. Up until today (6/16/2022), I never had this problem.

I am unable to log onto easy jet in firefox, the site freezes. when i use opera i have had no problems. this has occurred since your last update. Can you help? Alan

I have been blaming this on Apple, thinking they don't want to get bad news, but if I go to the same site on my Linux machine the "I have this question/problem too" buttons work every time along with the "Helpful" one that also fails to do anything in the Windows version. Just thought someone should know.

When ever I try access FedEx login and Energynet.com, Firefox does not respond. Multiple tries produce same result.

Using Chrome or Edge, I can access these sites, first try, every time.

I would be grateful for a fix within the ability of a low tech user.
