When i use mozilla in android 13 tablet, and i click on the 3-dot menu while the address bar is set to appear in bottom of screen, i cannot see the full 3-dot menu neither can i scroll to the end of it -only half od it appears. When the address bar is set at the top of the screen,the problem does not exist in landscape view. Please fix it

Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.

After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.

I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I just started using Firefox for Android, as a workaround to the problems I'm having with playing my YouTube playlists.

But, I'm having several problems in Firefox for Android.

1. Playlists (the actual lists of videos) cover the video that's currently playing. My workaround to this is to play in full screen mode, but that brings up problem

2. Full screen videos automatically switch to landscape orientation, despite system settings, with no apparent way to switch back to portrait orientation without also exiting full screen mode. I've tried rotating my phone with auto rotate on/off; neither setting has any affect on the orientation.

What's extremely frustrating about this is that any workaround is actually a workaround to a workaround to a workaround; it's workaroundception.

What I really really want is to be able to simply play my playlist/listen to it without having to jump through hoops and without having to burn through data like a bonfire burns through sticks.

IMO, the best solution would be to download the entire playlist:

...in one go, and stick it on an mp3 player like it's 2009. So far, the only YouTube to mp3 sites I've found only download individual videos; not whole playlists. (And that's not really a Mozilla issue anyway; the Mozilla issues are the unwanted rotation and the video stack covering up the currently playing video.)

NUMEROUS websites respond that I need to enable JavaScript when I'm using Firefox bruiser on both my phone and in my Mac. How do I do this?

There have been numerous requests for this information and it's never been answered!

I am trying to sign into a website using a username and password. I am using an iPad Pro. When I touch in the username field, I get a popup at the bottom of my screen reading " for xxxx.xxx.edu -- Firefox [username] I touch that and get a message from Firefox saying: "To use the AutoFill feature for Firefox, you must have a device passcode enabled. The issue is I DO have a device passcode enabled. I don't know why Firefox is giving me this message and at that point, all I can to is cancel and return to the website login screen. Any suggestions or help? Thanks much!

After installing a shortcut to a website that stages as an app through the Firefox Android app (Samsung 6.0, Android 14) when using said shortcut, if entering any text box the keyboard will pop up and rapidly close and open, making it unable to use. This problem happens on any text box, and with any keyboard. I'll attach a youtube link of a screen recording as well as a gif, though it's rather difficult to see the entire problem through a gif. For several months, whenever I need something auto filled, the only thing that pops up is a button that reads "Unlock Firefox" instead of the appropriate saved info. This button does nothing when tapped and when held down, there is tactile click, but then nothing.

Hey guys! so, for background, I'm using Firefox Beta on a Galaxy tab.

I have this thing when I use the browser in Multi Window and try to highlight a text by tap holding it. the pop-up menu (where you have options such as copy/cut and select, etc.) doesn't really show. this only happens to me on Firefox. what's up with that?

also, tapping a word twice doesn't select it even when I'm not using Multi Window... what's up with that?

When i enter fullscreen mode on my phone the android UI elements sometimes doesn't hide (see image). This occurs on sites like youtube and any other site where i try to play content in fullscreen.

for some time now I have not been able to download anything from homepages. The download window pops up, but it is a 0 file. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, but unfortunately this has not worked. What can I do?

All my inactive tabs on Firefox iOS are unable to be opened, whenever I tap on them the page won’t load and I can’t even copy the url from the search bar since there’s nothing there, and half the time the app crashes too whenever I’m on one of the inactive tabs.

I also can’t use the hamburger menu to copy the link or send to another device, and though the tab thumbnail is saved in the cache the page itself refuses to load.

Is there a way to bring them back? I’m running the latest version of the app and iOS.

I use the Firefox app for Android on a regular basis.

For a long time I have found one unpleasant problem with tabs, when I open a new tab and notice that the remaining 107 old tabs are open, I cannot close all tabs except the current one. I can close all tabs, but the current one will close too. Sometimes I have to look for a link in the browsing history after that, it can takes several minutes. It would be convenient, in addition to the inactive tabs section, to be able to simply close everything except the current one.

Maybe there is already such a function without using third-party mods on Firefox?

I cannot share a tab from my phone to my tablet or vice versa. I can send tabs to my desktop computers, and my desktop computers can send tabs to my phone, but for some reason Firefox Sync thinks that my phone and my tablet are the same device.

Curiously, when I go into my Firefox account settings and change the name of my browser on each device, as soon as I sync, the names are swapped. Specifically, I named Firefox on my phone "S23 Ultra". When I checked the settings on my tablet, it showed that that was also the name of Firefox there, too. So I changed the name of it on my tablet to "Tab S8+". As soon as I hit "Sync Now," my phone changed to "Tab S8+". And when I changed my phone back to "S23 Ultra," as soon as I synced my tablet, that became the name of my tablet browser, too.

Since updating to 123.4 it frequently happens that I tap a link in a website and it loads about:blank and won’t stop doing that until I force quit Firefox and restart it

When a private tab is opened, it lets me know in the silent notifications on my phone with the "swipe or tap to close" the tab/s. However, once I close the private tab that notification remains. When I click or swipe the notification it goes for a second and comes back despite not having a private tab open. Even with normal tabs open it does the same thing. Force stopping the app gets rid of it but the second a private tab is opened it returns.

I understand I can just turn off that notification but it's useful to have. Was just wondering if there is a fix or setting anyone knows of or how I can report this to Mozilla?

I'm not entirely certain what to list this under... Mozilla Firefox updated a few weeks ago, not entirely certain which version started this issue. However, in the past, when I go to log into my Capital One app on iOS, the password function with Firefox on my iOS keyboard would automatically identify the Capital One login page through the app, and suggest my Capital One password accordingly.

Nowadays, after whichever update it was, now I have to type Capital One into the search bar for the password function. The password page also doesn't come up on dark mode, even though it did in the past, and my system settings are set to have everything in dark mode. Therefore, I'm wondering if it is user error or some thing that needs to be fixed on the back end.

Uninstalled and reinstalled both the Capital One and the Firefox app, as well as restarting my phone (iPhone 13). Nothing has changed. Thanks for your help.

I am not receiving my email. When I try to, I am told to enter password. Even when creating a new password, I continue to get the same request to enter my password. I don't know how to get out of this predicament. Need help!
