I enjoy using Firefox for its clarity, security, and overall performance. However, on my Android tablet, switching between tabs can be difficult. I would love to have a tab bar at the top, similar to the desktop version, for easier access to specific tabs. The current swipe gesture to change tabs is useful but doesn't allow me to see all open tabs at a glance. Additionally, I’d appreciate an extension for auto-refreshing tabs and a setting for desktop view, so that when I enable it, all tabs—including future ones—open in desktop mode. However, it should still be possible to switch individual tabs back to mobile view if needed.

I understand that changing the file extension of downloads to match the file contents is a protection feature but it is causing me issues on mobile.

I am trying to download .rosz files, they are essential .zip files with a custom extension. These files are generated from one web app and are going to be uploaded into another web app and the receiving app will reject files with the wrong extension. The current behavior changes the file to .zip and requires me to manually locate the downloaded file and rename it back to .rosz .

Is there a setting that I can change to prevent download file extention renaming? I understand the security issues it can present and am willing to accept the risks.

I'm on the android version of firefox.

I want to have tab icon for bookmark on main screen on android tab, this isvery much important , for Windows there have option for bookmark toolbar, in the same way need fix shortcut for website , as shortcut is available but when I sync with laptop unable to add or edit shortcut, on that place history coming.

One more problem, need to have mouse scrolling works for refreshing the page or please add one add on for page reload

When opening a video such as on YouTube in the browser itself and htting the fullscreen button, there is a toast notification of the video being fullscreen but it seems redundant. If not, it is also an annoyance that it covers the controls every time. I was hoping the toast can be removed, moved, or turned off.

Why is there not an option to turn this off. It is way too easy to close tab when scrolling up or down to find a tab. This is a dumb feature that needs to be toggled off.

Is there any way to remove the address bar icons (reading mode, translate, share) ??

Even without showing the "https" and/or the "www' the address is very small and these icons making it worse.

Hello, when I view certain emails in Android Firefox, they resize and get so small I cannot read them. Specifically emails from NYTimes and others. Is there a fix? Thx. John

At this point I'm ready to give up on Firefox, for two major reasons:

1. Bookmarks are cumbersome as hell to access. They're buried under multiple pointless levels... and that's after you pull up a giant menu and scroll to the top of it, another pointless level. It takes four taps (and some scrolling) just to start looking at your bookmarks.

2. Every time you return to Firefox mobile from another app, it creates a new tab... instead of showing you what you were looking at a minute ago. Were you looking at your boarding pass? Welp, you won't be now. Super fun while you're in the security line!

Or, were you checking a restaurant address online so you can text it to your friend? NOPE, says Firefox. You must want a new tab instead.

The new-tab problem has been complained about for years. What is going on?

Hello. I noticed that on the current version of Firefox browser on Android, there seems to be no button to download the current webpage as a HTML file? Would such a feature be considered in the future?

Firefox has been closing all of my private tabs whenever the app restarts. I got a new phone recently and it only happens now on this phone. I've been wondering if it's something in the settings but I can't seem to find anything.

Hi, reacently private tabs started to be deleted whenever I close firefox, is this intentional? it used to be that when one closed ff and reopened it it would take them to home page in non private mode, but the private tabs would remain accesable. If thats a new feature I ask you kindly to make a toggle for ios to make it costumizable: close open private tabs when ff is closed: y/n
